Greece | Peloponnese episode 06 | Andritsaina | Olympia

We travelled quite a bit to get to the picturesque village of Andritsaina. We arrived after dark and finding accommodation wasn’t very easy. On the following day I was surprised to find out how beautiful and lively this little mountainous village was, which actually turned out to be a town and even a former municipality in western Greece.
The Temple of Apollo Epikourios also highly impressed me! I could have spent hours in there. The place is magnetic.
And finally, for dessert, we visited Ancient Olympia. I love sport and I look forward to the Olympic games every time. That’s why it was important for me to see the first Olympic stadium, run 100 m on it and get pumped up for the marathon in Plovdiv which was to take place a couple of days later. For the first time I had decided to cover 22 km, which for me was quite a lot back then.
This is the last video from the Peloponnese peninsula. This journey was wonderful! In my opinion, Peloponnese is one of the most beautiful regions in Greece and one of the richest in landmarks. One week wasn’t enough for me to see everything but I’m happy I shared it with you! I recommend that you visit it too! As I said - a great place!
