Sridhara Murthy Avare - Nagarahavu was the first movie Vishnu-Arathi acted together. Mane belagida sose came a few months after Nagarahavu. Vishnu-Arathi acted in 4 movies based on novels by famous female authors. Hombisilu and Preetisi Nodu by Usha Navratnaram, Suvarna Sethuve by Radha devi and Gandharva giri by Saisuthe.
Aarati has handled the Hombisilu role excellently, specifically her facial expressions, her eyes expression She is THE QUEEN OF FACIAL EXPRESSION. Moreover her acting is so natural that we feel like 'Next door girl'.

Preethisi Nodu was based on Smt Lakshmi Nizamuddin n Sri Nizamuddin who was a police officer and Lakshmi was afflicted by polio, but he offered to marry her. The story by Usha Navarathnaram is based on their life. And the heroine in the story will be an upcoming badminton player and not a police officer as stated by you. And Nagarahaavu was the first movie were Aarthi and Vishnuvardhan came together for the first time on screen

Expected much more as one of the successful Jodis of Kannada films (Raj- Bharati, Vishnu-Aarati, Srinath- Manjula, Ananth Nag- Laxmi , Shankar Nag - Gayathri, Amareesh- Ambika). Vishnu-Aarati have acted together in 19 films ( may not be paired always) - Vishnu’s most paired actress was Aarati.
