Eh, Billy was never a good live singer, but he's only gotten weaker. He needs to lower his mic if he's gonna keep looking down at the fretboard. He's only singing every other word. Sounds horrible. At this point, Jimmy is the best musician in that band.
@stevengray4595 I was, I thought the show wasn't great, took them half an hour to get the sound levels right, and I my opinion the set wasn't great. Bit of a karaoke sing along really. 6/10 at best...
They sounded better at the 02 a few years earlier, better acoustics.in there... oh how i do miss the early.days 3 guitar changes at most and a few pedals..

Why do they need all those other band members? When I saw them in the 90s it was Billy, Jimmy, James, D’Arcy and 1 dude on the keyboard. That was it.

I'm not sure it means anything, but I've never heard him talk about it. I think it's just part of his onstage costume/persona.
