_"I do like it when a big man comes down my chimney"_ Right at the end of the year THE most golden quote of TRY-2021 slides in like a drunk reindeer on ice, wiping out all others.
If 2 drinks have Ciara ready to make bad decisions history would suggest it was the 2 she had on camera and not the half dozen before filming LOL girl can hold her liquor.
When she first started to appear I remember people being a bit on the fence about her because she was still new. She was a bit reserved and almost timid. Now that she's gotten to know the other people and is relaxed she is one of my favorites. Her smile is absolutely infectious.
I love when Bláithín makes dad jokes - so much that I had to rewind back to 9:18 to rewatch the one that made either her or Dr. Sarina snort. (PS: I occasionally snort when I laugh, but only when I find something *truly* funny!)
Now these are certainly some Merry Holiday TRYers! Everyone had great moments, there was cursing, singing(?), punning, snorting and innuendos...who could ask for anything more? Thanks for brightening the season as well as the rest of the year!
Ingredients list is very nicely timed. I would imagine even viewers with slighty blurry vision could read through everything. Thank you and Merry Christmas 🎄!!!
Okay, wait a minute! There's such a thing as Gingerbread Syrup?!? (And I hardly need add that Ciara & Lena are adorable together. Also separately, but especially together.)
I would assume it is one of the syrups used for Starbucks or Italian sodas, they have like every flavor. I just invented Basic Bitchmas Martini: gin, vermouth and pumpkin spice syrup
Ciara and Lena at the same table?!? Christmas came early, what a surprise! Also Colin and Dermot - was wearing the same color a coincidence or planned? haha
As a person who celebrates Kwanza , it’s not a kwanza drink. Wasn’t created by a black person and definitely isn’t something that is drank during the holiday…
Yes! Merry Christmas and a merry Yule! Slàinte Mhath from California! Today we bottle Mead in my family for Christmas dinner. Hope you all have a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year!
*Colin:* Eye of the Beholder? I hardly know her! *Dermot:* _~disapproval~_ *~A Few Minutes Later~* *Colin:* I guess beauty really is... in the Eye of the Beholder. _~Beginning of YEEEAAAAH!, interrupted by record scratch as Dermot lowers drink from his mouth~_ *Dermot:* No it isn't. Y'ever get the idea the Tryers should Try celebrating Festivus? The airing of grievances sounds right up their alley.
Traditional Pagan Yule drinks are mulled wine and extremely strong homemade Mead. A good Yule cocktail would be an orange honey vodka cocktail. As orange slices are hung after drying for decorations, along with honey as the base sugar for Mead and cakes.
I want to say that as a foreigner who had the pleasure of living in Ireland for several years, some time ago, this channel continuously reminds me of how much I miss Ireland. The people are just so lovely. Honestly ... you guys manage to make durian fruit entertaining, let alone holiday cocktails. What's not to love?
I think I was PUN-ished by all the puns in this one!!! LOVE PUNS! LOVE YOU GUYS! You'll all the best! Have yourselves a very Merry Christmas!!!! One and all!!!
Fun fact Let it snow is not a Christmas song and was orginally released from So Cal in the 50s in the middle of a particularly hot July. Because of the snow theme it was associated with Christmas.
Can't remember another episode where absolutely everyone became progressively happier & happier,.. with no painful stingers near the end. They just loved everything. A Christmas miracle
My parents served Stingers at their Christmas parties back in the early 1960s -- well before Kwanzaa was invented. The cocktail dates back to the 19th century.
@@idjtoal The Stinger is said to first appear in famed African American bartender Tom Bullock’s ‘The Ideal Bartender’. It makes sense to honor an African American bartender during Kwanzaa with one of his drinks. No idea what you’re trying to say with that “narrative” BS.
@@jacobm1011 What does "is said to" mean? "The Ideal Bartender" was published in 1917. The Stinger shows up in a book by Jacques Straub called "Drinks" in 1914. A site called Chicago Mag has a picture of the man, who has one of those Hercule Poirot mustaches, and is neither African nor American. Another site called A Couple Cooks claims that it was invented in 1890 but doesn't give any details. So again, "is said to"? By whom?
Lena and Ciara having a night on the town could only be epic.
That would likely end in a literal "paint the town red."
Or DEFCON 1, I see both possibilities.
Just pairing them together is epic. Adding alcohol to the mix turns things legen-wait for it-DARY!!!
Count me in!
Is Lena old enough to drink yet? You should be pairing her with a lightweight, not bloody Ciara.
Ciara with anyone would be epic,. Lena would bring Ciara down.

Yes!!! Lena for the win.
@@samwilliams6617 Lena always wins!
And such a sweety as well.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🎅👍🤙
Yes, Lena is such an amazing gift to this worlld, that just keeps on giving :D
Lena wins the award for best double entendre of the episode 😂
Of the episode?... of the YEAR!
Ciara and Lena paired together Master and Padawan this should be great two of my favorites a pre-christmas treat
Imagine them teamed up for the next calendar episode 😳 😬 💯💯💯🤭🇮🇪
It must be Christmas, getting to see Sarina three try’s in a row has been a wonderful surprise.
Sarina's top of my Christmas list 😁
Agreed!
Agreed
🥰 my favorite
Dermot and Colin singing " Let It Snow" was the best part by far, well done!
I'm across the pond and I could have sworn I heard every Dog in Ireland howling in pain when they started singing
NOW, it's Christmas!
Hey guys; don't quit your day jobs... 😏
Sounds like a "Charlie Brown Holiday Special"...with drunk children trying to warble.;)
By far? Cause I really enjoyed seeing Dr. Sarina again. 😁
“ I do like it when a big man comes down my chimney” Quite possibly the best line I’ve ever heard In a TRY video. Well done👍
Put that on a tshirt
Yeah, but he only once a year.
@@tommallon4052 , but he makes it memorable
Ho Ho Ho
It's a really good line, but not best line ever.
Will never forget "Frothing at the gash." from the Bob Ross video.
I love that Sarina is back!
Ciara after the 2nd drink - “I’m about to make bad decisions”. ☺️
I'll be that bad decision.....lmmfao
The drinks she barely even tried? Yeah, no worries there.
Giggity
Lena and Ciara both ready to make bad decisions, and me nowhere to be found
If 2 drinks have Ciara ready to make bad decisions history would suggest it was the 2 she had on camera and not the half dozen before filming LOL girl can hold her liquor.
If you watch enough videos of the "TRY" channel you begin to feel like your visiting family. Thank you! for what you do & have a Merry Christmas. 🎄
It kind of is. Then you see someone that hasn't been on in a while and you can't help but gleefully shout out "Hey! It's that person!"
The best moment of the video is easily Bláithín explaining why the Yule Martini isn't a martini while the lovely Dr. just finishes it off silently.
Dr. Sarina is now my favorite! I love that she always finishes the drinks. Absolutely Love her!❤
Lena is by far my favorite, such a wonderful human being.
When she first started to appear I remember people being a bit on the fence about her because she was still new. She was a bit reserved and almost timid. Now that she's gotten to know the other people and is relaxed she is one of my favorites. Her smile is absolutely infectious.
She's got tiger blood.🐯
Chuck, will she be the next wife?
"My top is askewed, my hair is down, and I'm ready to be stung"
I died when Lena said that.
She also said "I love when a big man comes down my chimney". I instantly turned into a telescope!
@@likwidmagik I considered including that in my original comment, but it would've been to spicy!
@@basstrammel1322 When Lena talks I melt. Add Ciara in there, and I'm just done fer.
@@likwidmagik They have an aura and charisma, for sure.

"We're just gonna go full Martin Angolo on this?" Dermot and Martin's low-key para-feud continues to be a thing of beauty.
10 out of 10 should only be used between the 2 😎 it's their thing lol
I love the home alone sweater Dermot is wearing.

Drinking alcohol is y’all’s thing. I love the drinking videos. Side note is that I enjoy watching Lena get drunk.
Bláithín and Sarina is magic in the making. Give them more alcohol, pleeease! :D

Blessed with yet another apperance of the amazing Dr. Sarina!
Y'all are hilarious, I'm so glad the Try Channel is a thing i have in my life. I love every person that contributes. Spreading joy is always welcome 🥰
DR. SARINA!!!! YAY!! Now I just need to see Lolsy.
Eye of the Beholder? I hardly know 'er! 😎
I stg what bothers me about that drink is that technically any vodka is “potato” vodka and it makes me question if reality itself is gaslighting me.
In Ireland, it's often in the eye of the beer holder 🍺
😎
I love Colin's and Dr. Serena's holiday shirts! Really great video TRYers! 🎄👍
Doc lives stateside now, so it's a rare treat to see her back.
One of my favorite videos. Bláithín, Ciara, Lena and Sarina! Bestill my heart! Love these ladies!
Ciara and Lena at the same table?!? Christmas came early, what a surprise!
Also Colin and Dermot - was wearing the same color a coincidence or planned? haha
The color coordination on this channel is too good to be random chance.
The kwanza drink may be over 100 years old, but the holiday originated in 1965.

Been watching you guys for 5 years and it is always the best part of my day! Merry Christmas to all and thanks
I always love the episodes with Doc Sarina. Welcome back, lady.
Sarina at 9:43 drinking it like she is finishing a bowl a soup. had a good laugh there
Lenas reactions this episode is truly epic!😆😆😆
I love how Dr. Sarina downs ALL her drinks! Well done Doctor!

I do love how Colin is probably the person editing in the sudden awkward pause in the background music when he makes a tortured pun
The Stinger is similar to my favorite winter drink, The Snowshoe Grog. Brandy and peppermint schnapps. Over ice. So warming and easy to drink.
The right proportions can make it really pleasant.
Ciara & Lena! This must become a regular pairing!!!!
You heard it hear big men. If you make it down Lena's chimney is the way to her heart!
Ciara's blush at the end was the best thing ive seen in a while
Omg Ciara and Lena are a Golden Combination. These videos are just so entertaining! Holiday cheers Try Channel from Canada🇨🇦💕💕
Dermot and Colin harmonizing is one of the funniest things I have seen in many days!!!
I'm so happy to see Sarina! I've missed her!
Very entertaining. Especially the scene where Sarina is just chugging away while her partner is waxing philosophical.

Good pairings in both the drinks and the people.
Beauty is in the eye of the beerholder
increasingly so with the more beers they hold.
