The only thing I would have done differently in the editing of this video would be to mute the music when putting load on the bearings when tightening down the castle nut.
So that we could hear when the bearing was ether to tight or has to loose.
Nice video on the whole though.

Dont you "pack the bearing" with grease?

Maybe he did it during that long and obvious bit where he was packing the bearing with grease in front of your very eyes.

@@mrwitteridge3949 that's "rubbing" grease on the outside, the races inside is dry, Google packing bearings with grease.

@@hiemabedrog The beauty of a pin bearing is that the pins have the freedom to rotate. So all that outside grease becomes inside grease. It's incredible, really.

@@mrwitteridge3949 yes..... But the beauty of running it dry on the very first few rotations bugger it up before it get enough to protect it, this vid won't show that wheel 2 weeks in the future, you'll hear lovely humming.
