This song takes me back when me and my freshly divorced mother, a former dancer, were on vacation on a Spanish island and we stayed in an loft with direct view over the port. It was the summer of 1999, this song played on radio and I looked up from my polly pocket dollhouse to see my mother the first time passionately dancing through the whole room like no ones watching. Whenever I hear this song, I see my mother waving her curls, smell the saltwater, this hawaiian tropic sunscreen scent and the plastic of Polly pocket accessories like I'm just right there again. Priceless memory.

Ahhh the memories.. I remember watching this MV on a greek music tv channel in 2001, while visiting my grandma for the summer. I was 9 years old. I would stay all day long in front of the TV, waiting for this MV. I remember my grandma getting two different buses every day, for days, trying to find that CD for me, because she knew how much I loved that song and so did she. I remember how happy I felt the day she came back home with it in her hand and how happy it made her to see me happy, although so tired and drenched in sweat from going around all day long for me. It's just one of the thousand things she has done for me and I wish I could go back and live that summer all over again, with her being young and healthy and always smiling although her life has never been easy. I'm lucky she's still here with me and I hope we get to find even more songs to listen to together and many more years to make each other smile. I love you grandma 💖
