I opened many handfuls of these packs in the mid 70's and had an almost complete OPC set ! Managed to fill in the few commons I had left when the card boom happened in the 80's !!
The cards looked great. And you actually received decent players. But the first pack, the gum was faked. Which was odd, how it had a Fisk in it. I don’t know how much you paid, but I bet it was worth it. Thank you for sharing the video.
Okay. So from about ‘81-‘87, I was actively involved in the baseball card business with my late father. All these 70’s unopened packs that are seemingly all over the place these days were totally unheard of during the eighties. I’m wondering where the hell these all “came from”…
The internet happened. As more people got educated from Facebook, TH-cam, News, etc more packs were pulled out of storage, etc. In the late 1980s you could NOT find any 1977-1984 Scratch and Sniff stickers ANYWHERE. Now here we are in the 2020s and I have 65% of every sealed pack of 1977-2004 sniffstickers. Only great thing about the internet.
Nice hits on the minis
Gotta love that music! Hoping to see a '75 Yount.
Two very solid packs. How was the gum?
Beautiful packs! I ripped one pack a few months ago and just got a world series card with Reggie Jackson.
