I actually was watching somebody else with a "Random Buy" video just last night and I stopped at about halfway through and turned off the video in disgust cuz I could just tell that the good cards were planted and the guys reactions were totally fake. I will not name this TH-camr but there are actually a couple of guys that do either clickbait, like putting an extremely expensive card in the preview clip and actually it's a proxy, or seeded random buy videos with totally fake reactions. These guys need to go to drama school. Anyway I've always found your videos to be 100% genuine and for that brief period of time when you had the packs for patrons thing going on on the channel, and I was a member. I really miss that. It was really fun to watch the videos and see what card you were pulling for me and then receive them in the mail shortly after. Anyway I think you're one of the best Magic TH-camrs out here and really appreciate you bro. Keep on rocking in the free world.

Well I paid 280 for an eBay dad claim only to see after i bought it they had a slew of good cards for sale???? I get it tomorrow 3500 plus cards so I’m hoping but not expecting much but fun looking and maybe 10 or more $5 or above cards. He was selling dad stuff too…..sorry but just watched your 7000 up on the 1800 buy…..damn nice there

I didn't know the auctioneer split the collection so the 200+ that I bailed on had white, land, artifacts. The $560 after auctioneer fee and shipping - I made out with about $2k real value. I can't even imagine what was in the other box. why the f did I stop bidding?!

The ones with binders or sleeved decks i can understand though i probably would have been done with goodwill when the goodwill said to hi to you in the ad awhile back lol. That lot seemed picked before it ended up at goodwill because it would be hard to have a collection that bad.

The sad thing is, it's this genre of video pushing prices to that level. A few people find a stray Underground Sea in a thrift store lot, and suddenly everyone's bidding hundreds of bucks 'cause they saw a revised Ebony Horse poking out of the picture of the lot, or whatever. "Vintage cards! it's bound to be worth something!"
@@TragicMTG for garage sales you have to be super strategic. Best to go to middle class neighborhoods built in the 90s. And you have to be in the first 10 people there to have any chance. It does happen though!
