It's definitely a smart move on Nijisanji to hire such a talented multilingual group for EN, catering to Russian, French and Spanish. It's good to make moves into a niche audience early and getting the brand out.
Rosemi is a miracle of a vtuber (and then came Nina) and Leonoardo Doujinshi is one of the best usernames I've seen during this second half of the year.
Nina really sounds like the announcing lady you hear in a department store/airport. Or someone who works in a broadcasting industry. Really love her voice.
Rosemi is 100% French-Canadian For Nina, i kinda picked up the accent from Quebec. I 2:24, she says "tsé" which is slang for "Tu sais" or "you know". Which is the number one way to spot a French-Canadian.
Multilingual streams are always so enjoyable. A bit of French, a bit of English, throw a "saikou" in there and then let the clipper translate "I don't know" with "Keine Ahnung". Chapeau!
Now this is a reverse stereotype. My sister's in laws thought the rest of the world speaks French. Her mother in law pulled the "Non non, maybe he just didn't hear me, I just have to speak louder." to the taxi driver while in holiday.
Even though we're pretty certain most of Niji EN are Canadian, their French doesn't sound native to say, Quebec. Our accent is quite different from the "International" French that these three speak, which is the French that is learned in English-speaking regions. And it's, of course, not the French-French accent. That said, Rosemi's accent is closest to the Quebecois accent, and other signs point to her being Quebecoise, but she's definitely not from the rural areas where the accent is more pronounced.
