Ahh! sibling voices singing in harmony, is there anything more beautiful ??? Beautiful rendition of a great song by beautiful women and great singers ! Long live ye Connemara girls !!!
@77transam1 I presume you have heard Luke Kelly of 'The Dubliners' fame singing same this would be considered as the definitive version...but then again what do I know...Luke said ...........there were no great singers... Just great songs to be sung....
first time I have heard the Brennan sisters they are great, a fine version of this CND anthem pretty girls too I know its so sexistbut a compliment well meant
actually, the line as written by Ian Campbell was "in the park the dreamy bees are droning in the flowers among the trees." For some reason Simon and Garfunkel sang "lazy" instead of "dreamy", dreamy being an indication I think that the bees were getting tired towards the end of the day. Either one, though, is better than the mumbled/garbled some thing that get sung on this video.
Two of these ladies sang at a relatives funeral today, they are amazing, I could have stayed in the church all day had they kept singing.
If you listen to the lyrics it's nothing short of heartbreaking, a beautiful song by beautiful singers
Great cover with beautiful voices and singers. Ian Campbell would have appreciated their performance. Thank you.

Sad times now when a man has to apologise for complementing a woman. The world is gone to the dogs !
words should be: in the park, the lazy BEES are DRONING in the flowers, among the trees. (verse 1)
