I don't understand the weirdness around adults doing Disney stuff. There is nothing wrong with wanting a wholesome vibe AS AN ADULT. Adulting doesn't ALL have to be sin and repression 😂 The amount of swingers on "normal" cruises will a) have just as many kids as a Disney cruise TBH and b) I don't want to be propositioned because I am drinking or dancing at the bar and finally c) as a homeschooling, homesteading, work from home mom of 3, if there is an adults only area I LIVE FOR IT and definitely am the tattle tell on other parents not abiding by the rules. If I wanted to be around kids, I'd go get mine from the club and take them ANYWHERE ELSE on the ship. But for the love of everything holy DO NOT destroy the 2 hours alone and uninterrupted with my husband I will get for a year (until the next cruise).
LOL I was just saying that!!! 😅 My husband and I rarely get alone time, and *I* rarely get alone time. I don't get why it would be ok to break the rules of the adults only area (barring obviously an "emergency" - like caretaker can't keep watching the kids). Also as long as adults don't try to make Disney more "adult" than it needs to be; then yeah they should go for it and enjoy the fun! It's very nostalgic for lots of us too. ❤ I just don't like when adults get too drunk, or expect more sexualized experiences etc. at the parks and such....as long as they don't try to change Disney from being mainly family-oriented then it's all good!
We grew up on Disney.. it only makes sense lol!

I've seen many Disney Wish videos, and I will say that your editing and perspective are uniquely you! I've learned new things that I can do when I get Mommy time during our upcoming cruise. Also, nobody can match your aesthetic! I always leave your videos energized and inspired. Thank you for taking us along on this trip!
For the seasickness I have found that I truly just have to take Dramamine every day no matter what. Even if I am not feeling seasick that day I have found that taking it just in case mitigates it completely. I also encourage starting it about a day before your cruise and taking it for a least a day after to help with dock rock!

@@missdee3 of course! I’d also suggest buying some ginger chews to keep on you that you can take if you do start to feel a bit nauseous. I have those as a daily thing and they are a life saver

❤ I used to take it for long car rides, and actually prefer their natural version which is just encapsulated ginger. But have to make sure I take it with a bit of yogurt or something so I don't get major heartburn. But it's better for you and non-drowsy
@@HPgaloreYES! Or the hard drops too. Though they have been hard to find it seems...Dramamine brand actually makes ginger capsules! I use them for long car trips and even Disney rides. Though I take with some food, Luke a banana or bit of yogurt to not get reflux from it. But it works better than normal Dramamine for me as it's natural and non-drowsy 😊 I tried Ginger tea but it didn't work for me and I thought the experience drinking it was too intense.

Yes, I wear the bracelets when I fly. I uses essential oil inhalers (that I make) for cruise motion sickness.

Omg 😮 I went on my first disney cruise and got sick 🤢 AFTER I came home and during the night because of Dock Rock and no one warned me about it, glad you mentioned this, im not the only one and its actually a THING 😮

Love this video, now you have me wanting to on a Disney cruise. We been on 2 DVC members only cruises but that was some years ago. Disney knows how to do it, so I don’t think I would choose another cruise line. More of your Fl adventures while you are there, please. And yes concierge is the way to go, hard to go back, lol.
From a life long struggle with motion sickness, try eating some potato chips or pretzels sticks sucking the salt off of them, it works wonders, even helped me after Mission to Mars, which I have never been back on again! Thanks for sharing your fun cruise experience

I'm a travel agent who is specialized in cruise and i do get the sea sickness a lot also! best tip for me, ginger gravol and the amazon patches behind the ear, they are fabulous! Also alway try to book a mid-ship cabin and not to high up, like middle of the ship. Thanks for the feedback on the cruise!

I absolutely love the Elemis face exfoliating wash! Works really well but not harsh of a scrub like so many other brands! Andre should looove and enjoy it!

Love the vid! Thanks for sharing your Disney Cruise experience! I'm planning an adults only cruise soon and considering DCL. What about the adult pool? Did you find that they kept the kids away from that area? I think I'd be fine with kids being in some areas, but really would love some kid-free pool time!
Antihistamines will help reduce the amount of fluid in the ears which can reduce some of the motion sickness. A good one is Zyrtec. Start taking it a couple of days before your cruise. Scopolamine patches will also help. Place them behind the ear a day before your cruise starts.

This was a huge complaint of ours on Carnival. There are always kids in the adult only area. Between that and the young adults who are trashed, our balcony was our favorite place late afternoon.

I love doing DCL because my 14yo buggers off to youth club and I don’t see him for 2 weeks (we do the transatlantic cruises). I can go do adult things and he is happy, fed and watered without me having to worry😂

Cruising only in the summer has been a game changer for me with motion sickness. I only cruise in the summer now.
I live on Bonine when traveling anywhere. The last couple of cruises I had to take the patch. The patch unfortunately makes me super tired though. Lots and lots of hydration and being consistent with any type of Meclizine and also Ginger Chews (Or sucking on candied ginger) have been what do the best for me. I pretty much chase any alcohol with at least 1 full glass of water.

Loved this vlog! I totally agree about Marvel... we booked Palo that night when we went end of March 2024. I probably would skip Arendale if we went on the Wish again. And the Frigidarium! Amazing! Loved the spa. I slept through my facial lol. It was so relaxing.
Okay so I tried the patches and they came off because of sweating. So I didn't get them the last cruise and just drank a ton of ginger ale. And I had some ginger capsules and I was okay. The first cruise I got dock rock and that was not fun. Glad you and Andre had a great time!

Our first cruise was on the Fantasy. Just a regular verandah room w/ my hubby and kids. Next cruise we did concierge. I have NOT been able to go back to just being a regular cruiser. Concierge spoils you!!
Omg you need to do Victoria & Alberts at the Grand Floridian! We have done it twice and I think you and Andre would love it. Don't do main sitting area, do the other room or the chefs table.

I love your advice about being ready for kids EVERYWHERE! 😅 As a parent, who loves to be around kids most times, I would be pretty frustrated with the adults-only rule being broken. 🙈 I get that if you have no one to watch the kids and you want to experience that, it would also be frustrating to not. But I'd plan to miss out, not break rules. Anyway- I appreciate being able to go along on the journey via the vids! I'm inspired also by the decor. 🗺️ 🐿️ ✨
