Noong buhay pa ang mommy ko, I remember her stories of watching her titas sa San Miguel, Bulacan (1930’s-40’s) nonstop ang halo nila in cooking pastilles/Yema…kahit tulog, tuloy ang halo!! Her regret was not getting the recipes.
