You're right- MISA is cool beyond belief and always has been- one word name in capitals for a start. Not so many words but full of style. There are some early photos of her in grunge bands pre Band-Maid, while she was still at music school 2011-12, on stage wearing dark glasses and using her original old Fender Jazz bass and looking as cool as F'n hell.
There should be a preservation order placed on B-M's green lasers. They are as synonymous to a B-M live show as BAND-MAID are to delivering killer Hard Rock music :)

“Play” was originally meant to be an instrumental mainly for Akane, Misa, & Kanami. Saiki and Miku heard them rehearsing and liked it so much, they wanted to make a song of it. Miku ran off and quickly penned some lyrics and the song “Play” was born. The early 2017 performance is my favorite, as the intro is heavier and more thunderous. Good review of a great song.

Since this was original supposed to be an instrumental I'd love for them to finish it as such since the intro is so killer.....that would be special. Since you do stop the video several times I think you could get away with showing the video as is with no special effects......correct me if I'm wrong. Of all the bands coming out of Japan Band-Maid has the best writing and Saiki's vocals are second to none. I tried to listen to the "other" Japanese bands but they just don't sound as good as Band-Maid....not even close......IMHO

They seem to come up with a different opening for this song every so often, so if they play "Play" in October expect it to be different.
