This dude is an insane artist all around. I don't know how you haven't blown up yet. That is art and it's on another level.
there is definetly a lot of skill and craft, but it might be that the reason he hasn't blown up is because the original characters he is basing them off are someone else's art/ideas, artists who come up with their own ideas and creations get further in the art scene

He is pretty big already though I would say. 1,47 million subs. That's almost as much as Nerdforge, and more than Minibricks craft. He has the second most subs of all creators I follow. The only one i know of whose gone really big is Clay Artisan JAY. I think the problem of going viral is that it is a niche interest. Not all people enjoy watching people sculpt or paint. And not all know who Guile is for example.
But look at his Captain America video, it has 10m views. I think it's a combination of youtubes algorithm, maybe that people aren't drawn to his thumbnail, it's too serious, or that his videos are not "hype" enough with voice overlay etc for the mass to come here.
@@petrac2840 im not saying that they aren't lots of followers, its just a different type of audience to the audience who would be into fine art sculpture, thats all im saying, there is skill and craft in what he does, and it will get lots of fans who are into people who make models of known characters, but im saying people who are into fine art won't be as into it because its not how own ideas
@@episodechan The subject was of blowing up. You said people who make up their own ideas get further. Alpay Efe, Daria Callie, Lena Danya, Emmy Kalia, Andrew Tischler.. Those do more "fine art" and their own ideas but still have less. I say that the interest in itself is why almost none of the channels are "huge" unless it's a "how to paint", something "satisfying" or the channel is using mixed media with more action, like Jazza.
Dr. Garuda _is_ big _because_ he does recognizable characters. He gets to the broader audience by us liking the characters he creates.
@@petrac2840 I meant in the fine art scene, I understand that one can blow up in other things and categories, I was only taking about purely fine art, but if we aren't talking about fine art sculpture, then yeah, he can blow yup doing copies of people characters, and he is good at doing the craft and modelling and the painting on them, but I thought Mcduck was asking why he hasn't blown up in the fine art scene, thats why I said what I said

I love the detail of the downward-pointing nose. That came out in the sculpture as clearly and beautifully as it did in the drawing
This is one of those arts i absolutely love. Sculpting, pottery, painting, tap dancing- there are so many arts i consider extremely NATURAL and idk why, but imo they hold some of the most beauty in the world of art. Beautiful job!

Your skills are just awesome!!! Perfect sculptures every time! But I just think about the esculptor and how it never hardens :( Those sculptures could not survive a summer in my room without air conditioner or a shipping trip :D Even with those coats of acrylic paints :(

He most likely uses the clay that needs to be baked in an oven to cure
O know what he uses. It's called plastilina isemarf. And it NEVER gets solid. It's just for practice le in this case the videos
