This is a GREAT tutorial my man, and sheds some light on how some of the much more interesting old school Full On Psytrance Basslines were put together... So many people these days think that the vini vici sound is the foundation of Psytrance... lol, I can assure them it is not. Most people that have been into the genre for any length of time don't even really consider the music they are making to be Psytrance, it's actually what I would call ethno tribal, since it mixes such strong ethnic and tribal elements, and really lacks the sort of things typically associated with corner stone psytance acts and their music. I always suggest they get a good earful of some old school Space Tribe Stuff, some of the stuff the did with Electric Universe especially, or some of the more recent stuff with Space Tribe and Mad Max under the name Mad Tribe. I am using them and cannot find many tutorials apart from mainroom EDM tuts for massive, I know the principle is the same across synths but some have unique features that other synths don't.

I'm actually starting to know quite well the standard mechanisms of trance and psytrance, which I am trying to adapt to my own ways of composing weird progressive music, and was actually wondering if there was a channel exploring different points of view on the subject, just to give me more matter and ideas to push the boundaries of what works and what doesn't, stuff to think about and try out, and actual talk about composition, especially about messing around with rhythmic patterns a bit. So thank you for that, and keep doing your own stuff, it's very complementary to the work other educationnal channels are doing out there.

Check envelopes, especially amp, compressor and maybe the Filter. You could even Match the parameters to Midi/BPM.
