Mr. Graham may i say this mix is heavenly, i find myself going back to it time and time again, and each time having my ears be audibly blown away spectacularly, thank you for making it
I saw you in Houston one night, Max. Quivver happened to be playing at another venue the same night. Tough call but I had to go with you. Listening to your music is like being in heaven. It was an amazing set btw. The tunes you play are so unique and hold their own. 😊
Max was the most technically proficient trance/progressive DJ I remember seeing live in the 98-2000 time period. His mixes were so seamless and phrasing was so well imagined, but he was a perfectionist and never seemed satisfied. Thanks for sharing!
I literally cried to my dreams. Im never gonna give up. Goodness will always reign supreme. God look out for my family, friends, and my enemies...thank you for blessing me with all these opportunities to discover myself.
I was 17 going on 18. It was a 4am summer morning and I had a hard time sleeping. I had 7am football practice but I heard this in the distance while I admired my uncles 1985 350zx. I didn’t know this song would get this deep in my mind but some choons just grow inside you.
Studio Margalima I was 18 in the beautiful year of trance the year 2000 and what a time it was, sunny days blue skies tracks like this blended by true dj masters of vinyl at consorts like creamfields love parade gatecrasher homelands mysteryland cream amnesia god’s kitchen, weekend benders 80,000 ravers no shitty camera phones in sight just neon clothes and an atmosphere you can’t put into words
Absolutely spot on... definitely way ahead of its time. Production on this is so good, I've never even been remotely interested in hearing what the original track sounded like because this track does it for me. Obviously, no offence to the original track's producer.
When the song starts to pick up steam around the 3 min mark the bass line is a force. I had the supreme pleasure of hearing it played in a club and everyone was just in a trance on the way to the breakdown. Amazing feels and progression.
Max's productions have a phenomenal personality, you can listen to several different producers and some may contain similarities, but Max will always have something totally different. 2000 and it sits as new. Incredible!
Hearing this track after so many years repeatedly giving the chills as it was the first time I heard it makes you wonder what really happened to music producers & dj's of nowdays. OK there are some new trance tracks that worth listening to them but few.
Technology makes people lazier and creativity endeavours loss a lot of the artisan-like and love for detail approach that is the staple of many prog/trance masterpieces (and music and arts in general). Back then, prog producers would spend hours tweaking, designing everything from scratch, taking their time to hone their craft. Now youngsters (not their fault entirelty but more of a social engineering consequence) are led to do things quickly and as easily as possible with cloud-samples library and synths with tons of awesome patches, midi templates, etc (hence the "beatmaker" culture). Is like everything is there, but that impedes the "organic" effort to make something worthwile.
This was on one of Paul Oakenfold's compilations - Traveling. This was on disc 1 of 2. Used to listen to his after work in college. It was 10 minutes from the office to my apartment. The song spoke to me - there was a lot of sweat and tears in those days, but all in hopeful pursuit of a dream.
I still have the 12' inch (2 copies) and occasionally insert this tune in my peak time to dawn set couple years ago. This song was my introduction to Max in early 2000. Love the vst sound on double synth and double chord on floating section. Not to mention the aggressive kick as well. One of the best track from him and definetely my all time favorite track too.
@@KeirMurphy definately not a vst...vsts were only just happening around 2000 and those that existed were pretty basic sounds, nothing fancy..but could be any synth really, JP was a mainstay and Roland, Virus, Korg or a Yamaha etc could have been used.
Really, it also remembers; Shoreline, Falling Together, Bar None, Tell You... Max has a very unique personality in his productions, to this day, a genius!
@@maiconmelo2727 sadly he’s retired again. He really did have his own sound from 98-02. He came back with a lot more brighter lighter productions after that, then went dark with his sets after that period. Shame he’s gone again. He’s a massive talent.
The enormous breakdown and consequent devastating drop. GOOSEBUMPS 100%! Please don´t forget how this music hit when played in a club soundystem and with hundreds of human beings around you (no smartphones, no distraction back then, plus a lot of love pills).
*Big Room drop intensifies* I don't like how every genre has a drop, should have been only hard stuff like Big Room, Hard Trap etc. That's what killed electronic music and music in general.
what a tune. so good, and so different to original. And still listen to it on my own vinyl copy and more so on the Guy Ornadel Mix Slinky CD. Best era of club music.... Thanks for posting.
I've been listening to your selection of trance classics for some time mate. Take my hat off to you, top fella. Glad to be a subscriber to your channel. Good man🤘
Ahh This Is An Amazing track, the first time I heard it was on Slinky Presents Superclub DJ’s Guy Ornadel cd 2 Track 9 ( Reactive mix) Thank you for the upload TC/ Daz Stay Safe 🔥🎚🎛👌📈👽👾🔊📡🛰🕺💃✊ It strikes A Chord! Max Graham He’s up there One of the Best. In Trance we Trust.
Bioluminescent13 Hi bud, you can find it on YT, just search for: Slinky Superclub DJ’s Guy ORNADEL CD2 Track 9 or search for: Bullit- Cried To Dream ( Max Graham Remix) (2000)’ on YT too. ✊🎚🎚🎛🎛👌✊ Sorry don’t have a link for it . Actually you can probably even find the Vinyl, (The price Not quite sure) on Amazon: Bullit cried to dream ( Max Graham Remix 2000) I-know this sounds Crazy but you’d be surprised. Or EBay.
Loved this early Max sound, especially the double kick. Think I still prefer Falling Together (1 of my many GOATs) because it's so Moody but top class upload Dazza.
Thanks for posting this! From 1:40 it just builds and builds, first time I heard this was on Paul Oakenfold's Travelling compilation and I cried to be able to hear it in a nightclub since :( Btw... the production on this is just awesome! An absolute work of art for me 🙆🙌🏻
Doro Doro I Had Too Much To Dream Last night your shadow Fell upon my lonely dream There's something in the air I knew it wasn't real The night was filled with love The way it used to be And then your hand reached out To comfort me Came the dawn You were gone You were gone, gone, gone Chorus I had too much to dream last night Too much to dream I'm not ready to face the light I had too much to dream, last night The room stood still Can feel the words you said And i still see your image Racin' through my head You touched my heart Could feel your tenderness You seemed so real Just when you held out your hand Came the dawn You were gone, gone, gone Chorus
Wow just read all your comments, such a nice trip down memory lane. Thanks everyone for the sentiments and memories around this track and this era

Dance music needs to get back to big, melodic heart breakingly beautiful tracks.
This, bar none, tell you, dying to survive are some of my favourite tracks. Cheers Max
One of my favorite songs of all time!
When Max Graham was a god, these tracks were the absolute fire, he was so ahead of his time.
Max was the most technically proficient trance/progressive DJ I remember seeing live in the 98-2000 time period. His mixes were so seamless and phrasing was so well imagined, but he was a perfectionist and never seemed satisfied. Thanks for sharing!
💯 agree brother Max Graham was on another plane.
Another on par with him in the same period was John Graham (Quivver) of Tilt, and the legendary BT
@maxgraham All you friend, hope all is well!!
Perfectly said!
Amazing Trance track and unsurpassed reproduction quality!!
no... no way did this just happen.. I thought I lost this track!!! THANK UUUUU!!!!!!
Nice!
I literally cried to my dreams. Im never gonna give up. Goodness will always reign supreme. God look out for my family, friends, and my enemies...thank you for blessing me with all these opportunities to discover myself.
Lorenzo Almanzar 🔥✊
God bless you, Lorenzo!
Blessings, bro.
I don’t understand why ppl put the thumbs down if they don’t like this type of music why are they hear in the first place🤷♂️
Nice track 👍
One of my favorite trance songs ever!
I was 17 going on 18. It was a 4am summer morning and I had a hard time sleeping. I had 7am football practice but I heard this in the distance while I admired my uncles 1985 350zx. I didn’t know this song would get this deep in my mind but some choons just grow inside you.
Your Uncles 1985 z31 300zx! But no worries, got the point! This + Zs = orgasm
Nice memory :)
That drum compression is so tight
Wow! I love this track! It still gives me the chills! They don't make prog trance like that anymore.
21 years l8r, its still a banger
brilliant tune we need more max graham tunes
Of anything like this, it's phenomenal 🙌
@@Kris-km6tb if you know any other tunes this good please let me know
Wow wow, i now understand why this was called the era of trance....
Yup😁
I'd say from 93 to 2006
This was an era to define all eras. House, Trance, and Progressive all blended. The (Caselle and Christopher Ashtrax remix) is just as good
now trance is not trance but crap...

This song holds special meaning for me. I just can't quite believe it's 20 years young!
The production in this is way ahead of it's time and the mixing work is absolutely stunning
Absolutely spot on... definitely way ahead of its time. Production on this is so good, I've never even been remotely interested in hearing what the original track sounded like because this track does it for me. Obviously, no offence to the original track's producer.
Listening to this while highway/freeway driving is the most beautiful, yet surreal experience you can have. Big open roads, and a wide open throttle.
Outstanding mix. One of my all time favourite tracks. So tight. Max had such a great sound back then.
When the song starts to pick up steam around the 3 min mark the bass line is a force. I had the supreme pleasure of hearing it played in a club and everyone was just in a trance on the way to the breakdown. Amazing feels and progression.

The breakdown with those bright and warm synths. Is pure heaven!! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Still gives me goosebumps, underrated track 🤤
The progression on this is something else!
That Max Graham double kick, brings me back so many memories. 4>
One of my favorites of all time. So danceable!
Now THIS is trance as good as it gets! Really an amazing track imo...
Oh yeah, that’s where I heard it. Man the feels of hearing this track again after 15-20 odd years… what a gem
This is the very definition of a good prog trance track! Just incredible. Max Graham is a genius. His whole Transport 4 album is stellar!
Oh my God! What a sound! Brilliant! Perfect! Pure class! 🙌🏻
This guys music is a masterclass (Max Graham), intricacies iv'e never heard anyone else have, layers of depth to the tunes, wonderful

Amazing tune up there with the greats of the time awesome in every way 👍😎
top progressive trance
I still have this vinyl. I remember watching him play it live. Was awesome.
Top Quality Choonage!!!!❤❤ This for me is the definition of Trance Classics!! Happiness Happening!!!!❤❤❤
Dear god after coming back for another listen, I dunno how I halfheartedly passed by this beauty the first time without catching on. 😳 🕺😎
Great remix. Who can hear similar elements such as used by Graham in his track Airtight?
Really, it also remembers; Shoreline, Falling Together, Bar None, Tell You... Max has a very unique personality in his productions, to this day, a genius!
I was just listening to Airtight and you're right man. People even say this one remix was the base for him to make Airtight and some other tracks.
Falling Together is an even more obvious example.
@@maiconmelo2727 sadly he’s retired again. He really did have his own sound from 98-02. He came back with a lot more brighter lighter productions after that, then went dark with his sets after that period. Shame he’s gone again. He’s a massive talent.
Max is back again with his cycles show 🎉
This is driving and hypnotic, just how I like it!
This is banging, don't recall hearing it before.. Daz you've done it again 🙏🥰
This is oldskool❤

If you like this track, give "Airtight" by Max a listen. Beautiful tune.
yeah thats a true masterclass
I gave it a try, and love it.
Also Falling Together, which made me speechless
Airtight is a banger !
I haven’t heard this in forever. Yasssss, y’all
I like this track , straight to the point.
☢️☢️ in my car 🎶 closing our club at 6 a.m going to the next club til 12h...😥 Miss u those days
I keep coming back to this song. This is genre defining
Still holds up! Good beats never die!
The stuff before everything went to shit in 2001 was good. The last moment of innocence, and I was 29
Never heard this before, oh my goodness, blows my doors off!!.
Max Graham at his Finest
Long live trance nation!
Still have this on vinyl!
Today's kids with today's mainstream EDM: Take note, THIS is "build", THIS is "progression". ;-)
Indeed, rinse & repeat BS. Can’t touch the classic tracks such as this and the late 90’s/00’s era..take me back!
*Big Room drop intensifies*
I don't like how every genre has a drop, should have been only hard stuff like Big Room, Hard Trap etc. That's what killed electronic music and music in general.
Progressive bliss right here
Perfectly my kind of track. Masterpiece.
Man, that's a nice refresh rate on that video...60FPS? Looks amazing!
the dislikes never dream
Loved this tune back in the day, great to hear it again. 🤩
what a tune. so good, and so different to original. And still listen to it on my own vinyl copy and more so on the Guy Ornadel
Mix Slinky CD. Best era of club music.... Thanks for posting.

Brilliant track well layered true trance bliss
This sounds more like 2008 progresive, its ahead of its time, awesome!!!
2008 is way too late. 2000´s was already full of prog/trancey masterpieces like this.
The day I finally listen to this in a festival (I hope in Fusion), is the day I can stop wanting things in life.
Intense killer from start to stop! 💎😌
What a song
Straight forward just smooth like butter and nice .
Such a brilliant track, it had the hairs standing up to this one.
This is just too damn good man.. Love these uploads!

I Had Too Much To Dream
Last night your shadow
Fell upon my lonely dream
There's something in the air
I knew it wasn't real
The night was filled with love
The way it used to be
And then your hand reached out
To comfort me
Came the dawn
You were gone
You were gone, gone, gone
Chorus
I had too much to dream last night
Too much to dream
I'm not ready to face the light
I had too much to dream, last night
The room stood still
Can feel the words you said
And i still see your image
Racin' through my head
You touched my heart
Could feel your tenderness
You seemed so real
Just when you held out your hand
Came the dawn
You were gone, gone, gone
Chorus
(This is the full lyrics.)
are u sure? where is the "and I cried to dream again"" part that is sported throughout the track? lol
This is the original track? Like sound a track I listening on álbum of gatecrasher discotech generation. Anyway a beautyfull and relaxing track
top notch, thanks for sharing this
