But, she had too many secrets and wasn’t into sharing all parts of her life with me. So, I stopped waiting in her to call or text, I let go of any expectations I had of her and the time and energy I was putting into her, I started putting it into myself. I stopped looking for her attention and inclusion and passion and compassion and attentiveness and trying to hold her or make room for her in my life. If you think of a design like a jigsaw puzzle drill chuck, when the spool fails and comes apart, the shaft will keep on spinning and that stage just passes through without generating shaft power. Emptying out a B1 from the boneyard and getting the williams engineers to have a poke around Boeing for "the big 'un", and giving her the segregated input treatment and novel preheat saturated combustor nozzles / new ductefd inlet vanes etc / maybe silent rather than ripping the cosmos apart with the bandsaw of HOW MUCH FUEL DOES IT USE?! It is truly remarkable and I say hudrazine and hydroxy gas is probably hotter, so we can just cook compressed air and get worse. More ti. More plastic. More valves and flow models. The thing will be able to fly backwards quite likely if we do this right.

I am totally enjoying sketching out all the "can't do briefs" for somebody with a supercomputer to analyse and work out exactly how viable the strategies I propose are.
My thinking is that the durability of the waveguide is typically handled by the principal of equal load distribution, which to my mind indicates resonance, fatigue limits and cracking, and explosive failure with large release of forces. This is unsuitable for high mach inputs and air that is so saturated with energy that it is more like fire that just goes wherever, and breaks up like a crystal or a tear in the event horizon. A cliff edge to drop off fast if you stall and blend.
The area of interest I feel is in radial compressor design, and I think with the cryogenic nature of the assembly, a strategy to achieve a multi stage "mach gearbox inlet" may be possible - also providing a gyroscopic control and stabilising element which may be eligible for decoupling or gimbal mounting as a subassembly or fuselage control.

Many complain about the manifolds and exits of radial turbines, especially the heat.
Designing one as a very long flow controlled multi combustor mixed flow duct nine feet long is actually a good way of managing the heat. The fuel only burns for so long and in the presence of densified air, free hydrogen will react out fast enough to prevent metal infiltration, and even then it is positioned so that it would run ok with a couple of big holes in it. Like holes the size of your fist and it's still pressure, but you would see and hear fire behind your head before it switches off the fuel lines and runs on the main combustors and electric vanes. No more hyperdrive pressure but it still does F15 lite. The redundancy is much more likely given the topology I propose, which solves at the root the principal issue of altitude dependance and weather in your jet engine. Radial turbines are small-scale compatible due to the mach figures on the circles, smaller is better. The supersonic ferris wheel is gonna be hard to make, but siemens do.

If you think of a design like a jigsaw puzzle drill chuck, when the spool fails and comes apart, the shaft will keep on spinning and that stage just passes through without generating shaft power. The design of the waveguides can be considered in failover to pass air for long enough that it can go into safe shutdown and close the inlet manifold. Wrapping the edge with something with a cryogenic compatibility, very low friction and some acoustic permeability and linear deformation is ideal, so spool wrapping the edge gives a viable buffer which will failover nicely in the event of failure - the "cotton wool of doom" rather than the atomic shrapnel landmine in the cockpit. Any of the super high psi are bombshells in a tin can, so a hypersonic aircraft has to endure bullet impact conditions by default. These are potentially highly armoured vehicles which should resist small arms without flinching - a lower speed of ducted fan can be designed to accept a grenade and keep going, that's carbon fiber nylon pbi composite for you. The high pressure inlet of the compressor inlet is likely to be very difficult to place a charge into in real world operating conditions, since the design I propose allows the pilot to look into it or climb on it like a staircase to exit the cockpits and access the ancillaries. This is what you will need for not only military resources but also diplomatic and private sector use as rapid transit for highly secure operational data and personnel. The single and dual seat trainer is ideally the place to start, rather than a load bearing weapons capable assembly. My thinking is run it empty, then full of fuel in endurance limit conditions, then full of computers and sensors as a flying research station, and then you can put whatever you want in there.
