This is so awesome. We also just moved back to Georgia and are starting from scratch basically homesteading. I ended up with “free” chickens (and way more than I thought) and had already started with sourdough. I have big plans for our place that also involve goats and gardens and fruit. I’m so excited but I do find myself in the same spot, wanting to go 100 miles and hour and I just can’t.

Been following you on Instagram for ages, it's so good to find you here! I'm living in a town house in Melbourne Australia. We rent land for our horses & even though strictly speaking it's not allowed, we grow pumpkins in horse poo compost on the edge of the bush. We also have a small 4m x 10m community allotment plot that supplies nearly all of our vegetables which we supplement from local markets. We absolutely refuse to give our money to big corporations. Bread, cheese, soups, preserves are all made in my townhouse kitchen. You are so right - start with what you have, right where you are, just start small ☺️

Love the new content, if you haven't learned what they do to our flour yet you're in for a treat. We're at backyard chickens, small garden and the sourdough phase. The last year has mostly been about grains and milling our own flour and its a trip! Lord willing we end up with some more land next year to increase the garden and add more animals.

You hit the nail on the head. I actually found your Reel about the chicken being the gateway drug to conspiracy theories. I have kinda been following a VERY similar life path. I started with having to move and deciding to build an off-grid cabin on a 1-acre undeveloped wood lot. So I have the cabin, started with baking bread in a dutch over on my woodstove. Then did Maple syrup this past spring. Did my first garden this year as well. Now I have my first flock of chickens. So yeah needless to say in the few weeks Ive had these chickens, I've gone headfirst down the rabbi....well chicken hole I guess lol! Ordered my tin-foil hat gang sweatshirt the other day cant wait to get that! I also do small-scale content stuff mostly photography, but have dabbled a bit in wanting to do videos and stuff more. Love your energy! Love the beard! and also we share the same name haha! Keep on keeping on brother man! (this is also the guy who sent you that site that had stolen your design)
I’m out in Harris County and we have over an acre, but we aren’t allowed to have chickens… It’s the craziest thing ever meanwhile in the city of Columbus, they have chickens 🤯

A mixture of both! We have an intact buck so we have all the options in the world!
