Congratulations on setting a new personal record. Someday you'll get a whole roll of silver. That is a great feeling when it happens. In US clad dimes, there isn't a lot to look for, but one that I've found is the 1982 with no mintmark. In 1980, the Philadelphia mint started putting a P mintmark on all coins except the cent. In 1982, there was one die that has a small die crack, that did not get the mintmark added. That was likely because it wasn't supposed to be used as it was cracked, but it was used and uncirculated 1982 no mintmark dimes can go for a couple hundred dollars. I've found three coin roll hunting. Most ended up in northern Ohio, so some may have made it to Ontario. The other one to look for is the 1996-W. That was only sold in the uncirculated sets, but we all know that those get opened and spent, like proofs. I have never found one of those, but I'm always looking. Good luck!
Scott - thanks for that info - I'll definitely be on the lookout for those two. You never know - if I keep getting a roll (or three) worth of US dimes in every box, I might run across one!
Wow! Amazing silver find again... What bank and branch do you get your rolls? I once ordered 2 dime boxes from my bank, and I got 2 full boxes of 2022s. Not that helpful, and I had no choice to take them, but I walked directly to another bank to dump them. I may want to try the same bank as yours (in my region) to have chances for more silver...
I suspect that it doesn't much matter what bank you go to, your chances are pretty much the same - expect of course, if there's someone else using that bank in that town as their dump bank - then you're likely to rarely find anything good!
forgot to say i pull out a off center 2007 dime it most noticeable on the obv not sure how much it is off center but you can noitce more space of the beads on the side with the date
Absolulely. My expectation is that I won't find any silver in a box. I'm always hoping that I'll find one - that will make it a good hunt. But these last two boxes have been crazy. I don't expect it to last, I'll just enjoy it for now!
I'm getting more and more interested in Canadian coins. I bought a three pound bag of world coins and there was a bunch of Canadians. Unfortunately, I'm in South Florida so coin roll hunting will be difficult. Do you have any advice?
That's tough - I watch US coin roll hunt videos with envy, wishing I could get rolls/boxes to hunt. Honestly, your best bet might be to make friends with Canadian snowbirds who might bring you rolls to hunt when they come down for the winter, and take the rejects back when they return in the spring...
@@calzonemaniacsvideocorner0804 Ah! That's right - I've found 4 - I already forgot about the dime in a penny roll!! Yes, I'm sure if I keep looking, I'll find one eventually!
You mentioned the exchange rate for your American coins. Question Do you exchange back to the Canadian banks or cross the border with the bags of coin cash no pun intended lol. I believe I know the answer just checking. Again thank you
Canadian banks won't accept American coins at the exchange rate. This is why we often find them mixed in rolls at the bank. (Basically people cashing them in at par, mixed with their Canadian coins). Most people and the banks typically don't care, since US money is generally worth more than Canadian. If it was the other way around they might take exception to this, feeling they were cheated! Some folks, like my friend, will take his US change to the States and spend it.
@@CADRollHunter I got a Canadian silver dime detecting in Michigan last summer. Detectorists ignored it because it sounded like a penny. Their loss, my gain!
Nice finds! I love finding Canadian silver.
We have something in common! ;)
Congratulations on your great hunt. Thank you for your huge commitment and video content to help this coin community . Please keep up the great work 😊
Thanks, Stephen, for your kind words. I appreciate it. I enjoy doing it, and I'm glad other people enjoy my videos!
Super Great James! Again raising the silver bar for finds! The weak strikes on 2015 USA dimes are common. Some of them you can barely read the dates.
Interesting to hear about those 2015s and the weak strikes. It just seemed so strange on a such a new coin.
That was a very nice dime roll hunt. I look forward to the next hunt. Thank you Bob
Thanks, Bob! More to come!

Awesome hunt...
Thanks!!
I found a silver dime beside the Coinstar yesterday at the grocery store
You've got to love free silver! Awesome!

I find some of these types of minor varieties can be very cool to collect.
That is crazy to find that much silver

it was great finding 12 silver dimes last week so now you know how i feel
Well, almost! ;)
a pretty good find for a modern us dime would be a 1996 W dime.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome. The only thing that would have made that hunt better is if there was a KG6 dime in the rolls.
For sure - that's something I haven't actually found coin roll hunting. I've found 3 US silver dimes, but never a KG6!
@@CADRollHunter Considering that one of them was a 1946 (at least, the one in that penny roll) I wouldn't be surprised if you find one someday.

Looks like you got someone's metal detecting finds.
I think you're probably right about that. Thanks for watching!

Nice!
2015 is die deterioration LDS (late die stage)
That makes sense to me. Thanks for weighing in!
That must be part of a collection dump
I would have to think so. At least a few of those rolls. I'm still hoping to find a whole box like that!! ;)

Hi sir mere pass Botha old coines notes sikka it y
I'm sorry - I can't understand what you're trying to say. In any case, I hope you're enjoying my videos.
Nice Finds James, that is what we are hunting for:)
For sure! I just wish every hunt was like this!
@@CADRollHunter I wish :) I have been skunked for a long time, ever since i found a full roll of UNC 67s i am cursed and cant find any silver, lol:)
