- We recorded this Somali traditional dance at an Iraqi-Somali wedding reception at Atlantis Pavilions in Toronto. The wedding dance was so beautiful. It was an extraordinary wedding because there were other crew members from one of the Toronto TV stations to videotape the wedding reception. whats do you mean by WE? Majority of Somali people, Including Major tribes like Darod bin Ismail,Hawiye, Ishaaq are descendants of Arab men. Darod's father Sh.Ismael aljabarty his tomb is in Yemen. more detailed info can be found in books like Al aqeelioun written by al masudi and other Islamic scholars. btw are you a bantu?
