your inflation there looks high. However, this type food not available here in US, not even on west coast. If available it will likely cost more than usd20 per plate. another stable, interesting and good video. Closest comparable similar type channel of high quality there is Food Hunting

I think the whole leg chicken is cheap at $15 considering supermarket raw is already $9/pc. The squid, fish and mutton is expensive considering its from local fisheries. Mutton 100gm is $3.30.

Cost me a bomb at more than $10 back in the 80s while working in Penang.
Since then never had it if I had to pay for it.I think i had it twice but its paid by someone else.
Anyway , never appreciate having 3 or 4 kind of curry gravy on the rice and it kill the taste of the meat\fish\whatever.

I too don't like too many curries, it destroys the taste, prefer only 1 or 2 type of curry.

Honestly, first time I saw Chinese selling Nasi Kandar. Looking at the Indians patronising the restaurant too, the taste must be authentic (maybe not Penang level but close). Bravo!

@@chenalex3259I’ve tried it and it doesn’t even taste like nasi kandar. Very bland…maybe for Chinese tongue.

Ok understood. IIt's mean Muslim can eat probably...as long as the chicken is slaughtered by Muslim at the market, and no pork or lard at all
