This looks delicious, thank you so much for sharing the recipe. I never take it for granted, when people share their recipes for free. So many others charge for their recipes (which is totally understandable), but it's lovely when people share without charging - thank you x
Thanks mate 😀 when I was going through the different recipes, I picked out my favourite one which is the oldest and the one the old Bakers loved 😀 laters
Looked great thanks for posting. That knife looks so useful (I remember how you cut those cream slices a while back) - you don't see them in the supermarket.
@@dirkdendirk7583 thanks mate 😀 funny thing I have done some more different Christmas recipes using Baileys cream very nice, this is just the job 😀 laters
Ps - Is it plain or self raising GF flour? I've got some in the cupboard - but if I hadn't got any, could I just use regular non-GF flour please? Many thanks x

I’ve always been told that I need to blind bake the pastry first. Does it not make a difference then? Bakewell is a favourite in our house 😍
Hi depends on your oven, if you have a oven with bottom heat then no point, but most of the time I do prebake base first 😀

You can use low quality bread or plain flour, not really sure about self-raising flour. Most of the time, I use gf plain flour😀
@@crazybaker1 Thank you 😀 x
