I worked with Freddie on a few occasions as support act in Blackpool, and he was a most wonderful guy, a few times he corpsed me on stage mid song, and he had me virtually wetting myself, even more so in the Restaurant at the after show meal. True performer and I miss the guy. RIP Freddie, until our next Stage Call.

Can't believe what the press did to this great man.
Grew up watching him on tv and went to a couple of his shows. Had me in stitches just by walking on stage. A great comedian, great impressionist, and OMG his singing voice was phenomenal. A sad loss for the entire world. Really miss his cheeky antics. Rest In Peace Freddie. You deserve to be in heaven. Goodbye to a great person.

I was born in '79 and Freddie was always on telly, not cause he wanted to further his own career but cause people just wanted him on their shows, Parkie with Ali, Des O'connor show, other people wanted to be on them shows to be with Freddie and just listen to him, legend get thrown about to easy these days but back then and to this day and evermore Freddie Starr a real Legend.

Freddy Starr was one of the best comedians in the world and it is a shame he has to now stoop to this level of comedy to get a laugh. Freddy is much better than that. He could make people go into fits of laughter and not a dirty or as in this show filthy so called joke in his show. He didn't need to go down to this level of gutter comedy he is a born comedian and can make you laugh without this kind of crap.
