…but it seems the event is somewhat different this year. There's a new character.
Alt. for no.1 look for rows of birds (mostly past boss 3) and go to the bottom.
Alt. no.1 for gem 2 has the same strategy but 2 (mostly past boss 2) is tricky. JK. It has those sand worms going up.And jump to the top right when you see it.
Sometimes I put alternative routes in the video, but I just finished this video quicker than usual.
The merlady one was the easiest to get. i haven’t got any of the other gem characters except the merlady.

Basically, you need to clear 100 rooms to get a key. Then you can go to the castle select screen and unlock a tower that you like.

I would say that the fifth gem is the easiest one
For a gem chase, it's pretty easy. Although, the beach ball (Gem #3) is very easy to do, along with the water maze, once you know what to expect.
Getting to level 100 isnt hard at all actually so you just need dracula and then you can get heart vampire get to a 100 and get the rover
I've been trying to unlock the character related to the Lost Temple. That one has been difficult. Then, I switched to playing other games and working on other projects.
Sad you should still work on getting Dracula for heart vampire that 2nd gem is kinda hard for me I was lucky and got an alternate where you need to jump on an owl for the door that took ages to find the actual gem isn’t to hard
