Estée Zeller it's because they're using a technique called "I memes" that made Patrick more likeable.
He was always likeable and awesome but they realized how to really bring that out.
This is a normal publication.
They were experimenting with popular rock bands at the time too.
Fans who grew up with the beginning of the band know how they changed Patrick.
It's not indicative of a weird conspiracy or anything. It just shows how they're able to use information effectively in the age we live in .
I've been playing music for close to ten years these Patrick being a big influence .

You can see it for yourself . And 99% of others see the same. Thus, a personal image is born without anyone having to force it

If they didn't know the actual song title, they would usually call it the name or popular lyrics from the chorus.
Radio play was more common back then . Someone would be very likely to have also heard the chorus, but not know the name (they didn't announce titles or have a digital label for every track back then)

People could associate what that was without ever having to read it somewhere else .
All the parentheses titles are "i-memes"
Something spread through the internet alone is called an e-meme.
It's just stuff we've learned from mental association and psychology.

But sugar (were going down) let people back then associate the words they heard on radio or MTV with the actual song.

I just bought one of these. It just took a few minutes to sell me on the tone of this babe and I haven't put it down since. The Strat has been left dormant. I find it totally out classes it in tone for have the price. The only thing I would have preferred on it is a whammy and a bolt on neck, but its totally big time super sick.
