There's actually no CGI in that scene. They only used CGI/real life model as a reference, but everything was drawn completely in 2D, according to the anime producer.
Also, this is different from rotoscoping, they didn’t draw over the CGI but used it only as a reference. This technique is also used in Stark x Fern dance scene(Frieren) and Apothecary Diaries Episode 4.
As an introvert, I've fell in love with the show in Episode One. As a rock/metal fan and guitarist, this is the episode that blew me out the water and cemented my love for the series.
"Bass, you're too holed up in your own little world" - And? I've seen some bands where the bassist is even more spaced out while playing along, isn't that standard :D
Bocchi is a slice of life comedy, but to be more specific, it's a "Cute Girls Doing Cute Things" show. yes, that is an actual genre within anime and manga. there are probably like five or six shows every year that follow the same blueprint of 4-5 girls bonding over doing an activity together. frankly, most of those shows are kinda meh, but some people enjoy the fluffy no-stakes no-drama nature of them. Bocchi changes that dynamic though because all those mundane inconsequential situations become major conflicts for our main character.

2022 gave us 2 slices of life (and seinen) by CloverWorks, My Dress Up-Darling and Bocchi The rock, what a greta year!
There was also Akebi's Sailor Uniform that came out in January. Cloverworks really was bringing their A game that year
@@TheMCAvenger13ye Cloverworks absolutely killed it that year.
@@TheMCAvenger13 Akebi's Sailor Uniform was so good...
There is a manga which covers Nijika and Seika's (her sister) back story. There is also a manga which follows another character from the show.
This section's ending song is my favorite. It's sung by Ryo's VA. Every 4 episodes or so has a different one. The first was Kita's
There is another show like this called Girl's band cry!! It's in really good 3D animation, and a group of girls trying to get known!
"I like how the lyrics of the song go along with what she's fighting for now." gee, it's almost as if Bocchi wrote those lyrics herself, isn't it?

Yukichi is the man on the 10000 yen bill!
