Thanks to UglyBob for sending this in for review!
The Jonsbo magic fan is a simple take on the linked fan system, think Lego for PC fans. simply push together and pull apart. Link up to 4 fans as a single block and even daisy chain with the supplied extension cable.
Available in black or white and in 2 3 4 or 5 pack sets (retailer dependant) and some kits can include the 10 port ARGB hub, which could come in very handy.
RPM between 400-1500rpm and just over 60CFM these might be just the right fans for your next pc build, except one slight thing, the noise! Listen to them in the video and tell me what you think of them?

These look and perform better than I thought they would. You know me, I loves a bargain so for a shade of £30 I think these respresent excellent VfM. Hope they help someone who is in the market for this kind of fan.....thanks for the review, Mike and Kath 🙂
Totally agree for the money you can't go far wrong, thanks again
Jonsbo seem to make some well designed and priced pieces of kit for the budget market.
they do a great job
A unique design for sure. They do get a little loud when ramped up. If I had them, I would remove 6 of the 9 braces to allow the air not to be obstructed so much. I think that would help with the noise? Thanks Bob for getting these for Mike and Lady Kath to review. Take care everyone. Cheers
i have taken them down to 6 bars and still pretty noisy
might have to go the whole way to 3
@@mikesunboxing I know if you buy something you shouldn't have to modify it, but I think 3 braces will hopefully not distort the fans at higher rpm? Cheers Mike
No bother at all, Rick 🙂
@@uglybob7505 Hey soon Santa Bob will start to deliver presents to MUB Central. Cheers Bob
@@rickh8380 "Flat Earth Santa" will be making an appearance Im sure 🙂
Bought those last year together with a Montech Air 1000. Both are still in the box up to now
Hi, Mike. How well do these fans make white light? Most RGB fans I've looked at have a blueish tint to their white. I'm planning a built soon for someone and they want fans with white light.
these are the ones i used in the build on saturday in the stream and they were white in that, i thought it was a slightly warmer white than i am used to seeing.
@@mikesunboxing Awesome. I might pick up a set or two.
Really appreciate how easy it is to connect these fans & reduce cabling. I assume the structure is to prevent any distortion when connecting fans. Agree it does sound like a drone though lol I was concerned how you would connect front fans to top to rear and shroud fans but now realise link csble long enough plus use hub. Interesting review Mike and Kath 🐈👍
thanks! these are pretty nice, not the best i have seen but will be on the list when it comes to buying more fans
Nice looking fans and I like the pins, you can pre-order them in over clockers now
ah cool, will check the prices out
Hi I currently have a fractal north case and I am swapping cases to the Jonsbo d300. This jonsbo case comes with these 4 fans. But my current fractal north pc, I bought Antec RGB Fans, PC Fans 120mm RGB Fans, 5V-3PIN Addressable RGB Fans, Motherboard SYNC with 5V-3PIN, 120mm Fan 5 Packs with controller, Prizm Series RGB Fans. And then the cooler I have it the nzxt kraken elite 240 that comes with 2 rgb fans. I'm wondering with 3 different brand fans, how will they all be controlled to change rgb color? I'm worried about all this. Nzxt rgb I use the nzxt software to change the color. Antec, I use armoury software asus. With so many different rgb software, won't they somehow conflict?
the nzxt will use its own software to control the rgb for it but you should be able to get a match going. I still never understand why people buy NZXT coolers, they really aren't that good and are a pain to sync with
I like that all fans are adopting chain-ability. Thanks for the great video Mike!
yes it makes a lot of sense, i like it
The 3-pack Arctic P12's are like a pound or two more expensive than these. These aren't worth it, right?
if you can get the p12 fans they are the better fan, except the daft wires on them coming out at different sides, more messy but better
If I knew about these a while back 👀
I bought a 3 pack of these fans. Yes, there are other budget fans out there that might do a better job, but none of them have the features these do and at the same price point, for example, their daisy chain connectors, clean individually wired cables and RGB lighting (if you care). As far as noise is concerned, I never had any issues since my PC is on a small riser next to my desk and not on it (why people do this and then complain about noise when their PC is sitting right around their hearing level is hilarious). If you intentionally listen out for noise or use your computer with the volume muted then you'd hear noise otherwise you're just being nitpicky.
Great video.
