No I haven't, I might do that eventually, but there doesn't seem much to make a tutorial on for those parts of the game
Thanks for the video. I remember when the golf part first release, I could just putt like I would in real life, and it worked. After some update, any normally executed putt goes two inches. I guess they want you to swing like a drive or something? I don’t know why they changed it to something so un-golf like.
I agree, the putting in this game kinda sucks. To have to find some weird method of putting to get the most consistency, it really shouldn't be like that. 🙃

I just find the motion controls invert randomly. And no matter how many times I reset my stance it won't go back. I don't know if this a controller problem or a game problem.
Hmm, what do you mean by invert? This sounds like a controller problem to me.
@@PingsGolf I mean as in I have to push the Joycon forward to get power and back to hit it. It happens with every club.
@@OldSchoolTyler No that's definitely not normal, maybe something in settings somewhere or maybe your controller is busted?
@@PingsGolf I checked settings. Nothing there. I mean my controller works fine in every other sport. Like I played Bowling recently and got like 245 so I don't know. Might be a glitch
@@OldSchoolTyler are you holding your controller like how I show in my video? Are you playing on the wrong hand setting maybe? Are you pointing down to the floor when resetting the shot in the game?

one thing I still don’t understand is that when practicing for a putt and not actually hitting the ball, it seems like the power meter goes further than on the actual hit
This is just a consistency issue. I don't think anyone has a "perfect" putting strategy to always get consistent results. But you can get it a lot more precise the more you practice. The putting meter is very "delicate" so even the slightest differences get picked up. Focus on your swing, try to tune in on perfectly replicating your swing each time. If you do the same motion, regardless if it's before or during the actual swing, the results will be the same! Good luck!

What does that green symbol next to your character mean?
I was trying out what aim assist is. You can enable it in the settings menu when picking a game. It just makes it so you can't curve your shot or go over the full bar limit. I don't think I used it for most of the video since I just wanted to see what it was
