Reminds me of my adoptive father. He was never physically cruel to me but always talked in a tone of voice that shined of looking down on me when he was around his soldier friends and co-workers. There was about a 15 year difference and continued even when I was 35 and he was 50 or 52. At a certain age, he should have treated me like a fellow man and not his adoptive son.
I get the hair cutting. When Jonathan cuts off his hair, it symbolizes a loss of his innocence. And that's when Reva actually gets it and understands what Jonathan went through when he was a little boy. How old was JOnathan supposed to be here? Because TP looked about 21 years old.
@cbruns71471 Does anyone else think that Tom Pelphrey could have played Lucky Spencer on GH? That character is similar to the one of Jonathan to me and I love both characters very much. It always made me wonder if TPTB tried to get him to take over as Lucky whenever they recast the role.
He's on the Iron Fist now. And he just got done on Banshee. He played a police officer that was part of a Nazi cult since he was a child and covered in Nazi tattoos but grew to understand how wrong and gross it was and got away and it was hinted at hte end he was going to have all the tattoos lasered off. Watch his storyline, he was really good.
