Oh poor little guy, he's so scared and defensive. It's good to learn what to do in case we get one that isn't tame yet. I'd like to see how Blu does in a nice warm bath. Will it calm him down, or make him more upset ?? 🌞💗🦋
I use Food treats to calm my new Rescues. They come in at all ages & usually aren't tame at all! It's tales me at least 2 weeks to gain their trust. But once I get their trust, it's for life. The Dubia Roaches is usually what soothes their aggressive behavior for me. Thank you for being patient with this little baby ❤💙💜💖
i freaking love them when they are that size they are so uber cute ! and they sure are sketchy when they are that size but its nothing that cant be trained out ^^
Blu,Blu, Blu how cute are you ! What a fun way to pass the day !just watching you Blu .& lord Elion, too . He's angry and I wonder what his bath will look like, Huh Blu ?
I remember my Fuji would always run but eventually she’d start scratching the cage window to get out and explore! She also loved cuddles! She was super happy and sassy. She also had an extreme hate for men! May my baby rest peacefully in heaven
lol he is training with the plant, the plan is to take chunks out of you next :) this one is really not Tame at all ! Any Tips for a new starting reptile channel? :)
Wow Blue has gotten so much bigger. I had to deal with my brothers aggressive bearded dragon too. Now she is so calm but it took a lot of work to get to the point where she is today. Good Luck.
So grateful for these videos. I had my old beardie pass a while ago and he was the calmest most chill guy ever. Now I have a youngster who is very scared and has graduated to biting 🤦♀️ Looks like this might be normal at his age 😅
I have one that was this way. Bought him from a friend because he kept biting her son lol. I tamed the monster 🤣 Now he loves being out of the terrarium and being on your lap and played with.
Was there anything in particular you did to tame him ? my 3 month old beardy doesn't seem to like being handled , I know he's only a baby but I would like him to stop feeling stressed out so I can bond with him . I'm new to reptiles and I'm trying to get as much info as possible!
Blue is coming for Wilberts spot for most crazy lol hopefully he learns to trust and love you!! I got lucky with mine once he learned I was his food source he stopped seeing me as a threat and has been chill ever since 💚🥰
Hii , I just got my second beard dragon yesterday and she is a little bit ferocious, I am not sure if it is because of the previous owner that abandoned her or simply because she is between baby - juvenile age ? Other then that she is skinny . Any tips on how to handle a previously owned beardy ?
I have 4 dragons, all are on the older version, my 5 year old male is extremely aggressive and it started out of no where. He’s not afraid or scared, you can’t even pick him up without a freak out or a outburst, been bit plenty of times by him, I can’t even grab his water or food bowl, or hand feed him, he doesn’t care straight hand is the target. What can I do to chill him out, putting my hand in the cage will not work 😭
Hey I purchased my first beardie 2 days ago. I was able to hold him at the petstore. He was chill. He's around 5 months old juvenile. Since he's been home with me I've been quite nervous about picking him up ugh. Any advise?
I have an adult beardie (Harley) that’s about 3 years old. He is very aggressive and hates being picked up. He has bit me pretty bad before and broke my finger from the force. I don’t know what to do to make him okay with me picking him up again. He wasn’t like this when I first got him as a baby and I use to be able to handle him and take him out of his cage all the time but once he went into brumation he came out a totally different dragon and hates me. Each brumation he goes though it just gets worse. Any tips?? (I’m honestly scared of him at this point and it makes me so sad cause I want to interact with him)
I acquired my bearded dragon Lizzy about 2 years ago. Hubby knew I've adored the species for years, so that Christmas we went on a search to find the right one! I chose Lizzy for her overall demeanor I've kept reptiles for about 50 years. She was social and friendly at the time. I had a major health event and was not able to interact or handle her for a few months. Family fed her and kept her cage cleaned. Now, she's angry. Hateful angry! She wants to bite anyone or anything entering her terrarium. Let me say I was an Animal Control officer for years. Have also been a reptile enthusiast since I was a kid, love snakes and lizards. Have kept many species of both. I am stumped right now, what is going on with Lizzy why the change? She's not been abused and there is no reason aside from maturity to act this way. I'd love opinions on this.
Typically their behavior only changes this drastically because of a super negative human interaction. Abuse, injury, etc. She isn't going to be mad because you couldn't hold her for a bit. She's mad because a human did a bad thing and she remembers it.
I just bought a adult beardie from someone because I seen they weren’t feeding him right and giving him the right lighting and nutrients and I cannot tame him. He’s made me bleed quiet a few times.
This is awesome I have an adult 1yr old and he's never really been taken put of his cage and handled. He's comfortable with my hand n me petting him I can hand feed him jus having a hard time with taking him out. That being said PART 2 PLEASE 😁
I have a feeling Blu💙 may be crazy now, but he will settle down and become the most chill dude later on. I have the total opposite problem with Basil. He ALWAYS wants to be held and taken out of his tank. He's such a cuddle monster.
Hehe Blue be crazy today! My Eek the Freak only went crazy on me once and tried to nip me. Now, oh, he is spoiled! He thinks his worms and crickets need to be delivered to his mouth by my fingers or the tongs lol! He will look at the worms or dubias in their little bowl, then look up at me like, hey you need to feed these to me. For a while he ran and hid from even baby crickets! Shew, at least he will now eat them….as long as they are handed to him! Spoiled….🦎🐢🐸💚🐍
My baby just runs away from me soon as i open the tank is not flairing her beard or anything just literally runs away - had her in my hamds ince and she jumped straight away 😢
I didn't experiment. With coconut bark and play sand. The bearded dragon changed its behavior. When I introduced the play sand. The dragon got more aggressively active.
This is a really great suggestion! You know how some beardies get really crazy when they get outside (even if they have never been outside before) it’s like they just instinctively know they need to be hyper alert because of birds or other predators… maybe this bioactive enclosure resembles “outside” so closely that it has the same effect on Blu’s mentality… do you think that could be what is happening? Or atleast part of it?
Blue 💙, "I am big scary dragon, fear me." The thing that I have seen when my males have done this, they just got healthy or they got a new enclosure, they are territorial, so when they take ownership of the enclosure it would most likely look like this. But like I keep telling people, humans do best with the right amount of stress in their early life, over stress is stress they can't get away from, anything other then that is important for mental development
PLEASE HELP. My beardie “Zelda” has been in brumation for about a month now. One day she came out and was acting herself, so I gave her some food. Mustard grass and Romain lettuce with a little apple. Unfortunately, after that day she has slept and slept, I’m worried about the food she ate just going bad in her stomach. I’m pretty stressed about it, and I’m not sure what to do! Edit: Any tips or advice would be very much appreciated
I have won I just bought. Same size like and everything. Acts just like this. I put one in front to get him distracted then pick him right up. With technique I've only been bitten once. Once to many. He's finish nice. It two weeks at least 3 times day to get him where I can get him calm pretty quickly. He still gets a little aggressive the frist time I go in to get him. They get caught and killed from large birds of prey from up above so they knoW that anything from above is usually a predator. They always come around eventually with kindness and knowing your their food source.
Mine was like this when I first got her lol. I can pick her up now without her trying to bite me, but she squirms a lot and tries to run. So I’m trying to learn a better way to pick her up without her feeling threatened. Hopefully this helps
Awww wee black beardie Blue. He's so cute. I'd love to see him in the bath. My Buddy was a black beardie angry guy in his 'teens' but he's quietened down a good bit. Don't get me wrong, he still throws himself head first into the glass when he wants out. Just now it's 45% of the time instead of 100% It took him ages to be ok being held. He's still not that great but he tolerates me. I guess it's because he knows I'm the food giver.
Blue needs to come to me and I will tame him. It's so disappointing to see that he is that stressed and angry all the time. Lord Elion, why is he on loose substrate? He has his mouth open so much, that he can get impacted very easily. You have an overhead way to get to him. Why not doors in the front? They don't like you coming at them with your hand over their head.
My tip how to tame a bearded dragon is like giving food talking Tom talk to him cuz like I think bearded dragons are smart talk to him my bearded dragon is not mean he's like he goes on my shoulder
Wilbert is a fire cracker, but Blue is a pistol! I wondered if that was why we didn't see him so much in your videos. Will he eventually tame down, or does he possibly just have a less desirable temperament? I could see how some people might like a challenge, but you also want to see improvement. What is your best guess about Blue's future prospects?
Who’s crazier Wilbert or Blue? Lol 😅
I think Blue wins this time lol!
BLUE FOR-SURE
Crazier how?
Didn't specify, so I say there crazy in there own unique special ways.
Blue
Wilblu
Blu💙 makes my day… I appreciate his wild lil spirit! He’s a ferocious lil dragon… and I am here for it!!
this one somehow sparks joy when he is chasing around in his tank lol :)
Oh poor little guy, he's so scared and defensive. It's good to learn what to do in case we get one that isn't tame yet. I'd like to see how Blu does in a nice warm bath. Will it calm him down, or make him more upset ?? 🌞💗🦋
That rejection sound was HILARIOUS. I love a wild crazy boy. BLUEEEE . has my heart ❤
My little girl isn’t this bad but she runs from me when I try to pick her up and sometimes opens up her mouth when she is being held
Blue! I love your videos I learn a lot every time, thanks for making everyone's learning experience fun and entertaining.
I'm getting my beardie tmrw.... I love animals but do not know much about them.. your channel is soooo helpful!
I use Food treats to calm my new Rescues. They come in at all ages & usually aren't tame at all! It's tales me at least 2 weeks to gain their trust. But once I get their trust, it's for life. Blue ,, he was pissed boy 😂 I started dying laughing when u gave him a snack n tried too pet him n he shook it on you 😂🏃🏾🏃🏾🏃🏾
lol he is training with the plant, the plan is to take chunks out of you next :) this one is really not Tame at all !
Any Tips for a new starting reptile channel? :)
Wow Blue has gotten so much bigger. I had to deal with my brothers aggressive bearded dragon too. Now she is so calm but it took a lot of work to get to the point where she is today. Good Luck.
Blue 💙 baby dragon! Love your videos I’m picking up my baby tomorrow so I’ve literally been watching your whole channel today!!! Great stuff
So grateful for these videos. I had my old beardie pass a while ago and he was the calmest most chill guy ever. Now I have a youngster who is very scared and has graduated to biting 🤦♀️ Looks like this might be normal at his age 😅
Blue is a riot! Maybe he and Wilbert are long lost brothers lol 😂
lol maybe :)
Said to comment blue. I love all your videos. They have helped me so much with my beardies.
I have one that was this way. Bought him from a friend because he kept biting her son lol. I tamed the monster 🤣 Now he loves being out of the terrarium and being on your lap and played with.

💙Blue is crazy..lol OMG he is making me laugh so hard. Looks like he wants more dead plants in your videos
Awe he hissed at youuuu😱😍🥰 I love it lol
Blue is coming for Wilberts spot for most crazy lol hopefully he learns to trust and love you!! I got lucky with mine once he learned I was his food source he stopped seeing me as a threat and has been chill ever since 💚🥰
Blue is hilarious- thanks for the laugh.
yeah that was just awesome :)
I love blue.... I have one just like that and she won't stop fighting but she's so adorable
I rescued a adult wild beardie and when i go in to interact with him, i wear a small rubbe cooking glove that i clean before i do, with hot water.
Hii , I just got my second beard dragon yesterday and she is a little bit ferocious, I am not sure if it is because of the previous owner that abandoned her or simply because she is between baby - juvenile age ? Other then that she is skinny . Any tips on how to handle a previously owned beardy ?
I think blu is adorable and quite the fighter!
I just came across your channel and I am telling you I was laughing so hard at this video I thought I was going to have an asthma attack LOL
Oh yes... Blue
My dragon just watches me since he came home lol we cuddle almost everyday. Never been aggressive i love him hes such a sweetheart
We have one the same size with the same temperament I'm glad I found this video thanks man!
Hey I purchased my first beardie 2 days ago. I was able to hold him at the petstore. He was chill. He's around 5 months old juvenile. Since he's been home with me I've been quite nervous about picking him up ugh. Any advise?
#blue... Blue is DEFINITELY wilder the Wilbert HANDS DOWN!
Quick question; WHAT and WHERE do you buy your reptile food? I think my CHEETO will love it
I love the enclosure, what all did you use in it
I have an adult beardie (Harley) that’s about 3 years old. He is very aggressive and hates being picked up. He has bit me pretty bad before and broke my finger from the force. Blue is just like my daughter's beardie. Part 2 of more tips and a bath video would be great.
Where did you get the cart at that’s holding him
Man, Blue really gives you a run for your money. I wanna see a bath video too 👍
lol that would be awesome :)
Is there an update on Blue...?
I acquired my bearded dragon Lizzy about 2 years ago. Hubby knew I've adored the species for years, so that Christmas we went on a search to find the right one! I chose Lizzy for her overall demeanor I've kept reptiles for about 50 years. She was social and friendly at the time.

im going through the same problem, did you ever find out why ?
Typically their behavior only changes this drastically because of a super negative human interaction. Abuse, injury, etc. She isn't going to be mad because you couldn't hold her for a bit. She's mad because a human did a bad thing and she remembers it.

What are those growing lights you use called ¿
Hey I might be wrong but does he have gum disease I think I saw gum disease maybe I’m wrong i don’t know just asking
👍👍👍👍👍 head touch tip helped a lot!
This is awesome I have an adult 1yr old and he's never really been taken put of his cage and handled. He's comfortable with my hand n me petting him I can hand feed him jus having a hard time with taking him out. That being said PART 2 PLEASE 😁
I see he hadn't changed since he came out of his egg. Hahaha.
Blue
How long have you had him for now!? How long do you think it'll take to tame him!? Love his spirit xx
I have a feeling Blu💙 may be crazy now, but he will settle down and become the most chill dude later on. I have the total opposite problem with Basil. He ALWAYS wants to be held and taken out of his tank. He's such a cuddle monster.
Blu.... that's a good name :) I always watch through to the end :)
Blue "because we're crazzyyy boysss"
Blue more tips on taming baby bearded dragons

Blu....blu... awww our vicious little man!
When my Rankin gets pissed I usually negotiate with either a worm or a head scratch
I do this with my Rescue dragons
My baby just runs away from me soon as i open the tank is not flairing her beard or anything just literally runs away - had her in my hamds ince and she jumped straight away 😢
Blue!!! I need help with my angry beardie!
I'm telling you it's the bioactive enclosure setup. Try putting them in an empty enclosure and see if his temper goes down
How would an empty enclosure calm him down? I'm honestly just curious.🤷🏾♀️
It would be a change in scenery. And the lizard would have a change in thought it's surroundings so it's behavior will change
I believe the lizard would be more interested in the change. And focus on what happened to its enclosure more than the aggressiveness.
I didn't experiment. With coconut bark and play sand. The bearded dragon changed its behavior. When I introduced the play sand. The dragon got more aggressively active.
This is a really great suggestion! SHe probably will be fine. In the wild they may have a snack as well and go right back into brumation.
@@scottnicholls4160 I greatly appreciate the response! This helps put my mind at ease, thank you Scott!
Sorry. I’m a tad late to this video! 😂 How is Blue now? Do you have any videos of angry dragons in a bath?
Great vid keep up the good work and don’t let anyone let you down. blue 💙
Blue be wildin!
I have won I just bought. Same size like and everything. Acts just like this. I put one in front to get him distracted then pick him right up. With technique I've only been bitten once. Once to many. He’s like get that camera out my face 😂😂😂😂
That one dislike is from Blue!! Lol 😂
Mine was like this when I first got her lol. I can pick her up now without her trying to bite me, but she squirms a lot and tries to run. So I’m trying to learn a better way to pick her up without her feeling threatened. Hopefully this helps
I put a towel over the one I just got and it works lol
Awww wee black beardie Blue. He's so cute.
I'd love to see him in the bath.

Blue needs to meet my now quite tame Chyna! She was scary like that too! I jus continued to give her love everyday!🍍😘🍍😘🍍
Blue is so cute haha but he makes me so grateful that my beardie is soooooo sweet
Blue!!! I have the same issue!!! Ugh 😩
Blue! Bath video will be great, hahaha
Blue. My dragon Mushu isnt quite angry as Blue but he definitely dislikes me too. Im trying to do whatever i can to earn that trust.
Blue definitely 🐉
3:35 that was hilarious
Blue--Part 2--- We just rescued an adult that is very aggressive.
Yes my bearded dragon acts just like I need help he keeps biting
Blue, follow up please.

I just want more blue videos, I really want to see him get a bath. Blue
Blue. Great video.
a feeding video with such an temperament would be nice :)
Blue - he's gorgeous such a character :D
I use to feed her with the tongs, then transfer to hand feed her now she allows me to hold her without biting me. Blue boy
Blue needs to come to me and I will tame him. It's so disappointing to see that he is that stressed and angry all the time. Lord Elion, why is he on loose substrate? He has his mouth open so much, that he can get impacted very easily. You have an overhead way to get to him. Why not doors in the front? Blu . Omg he's angry . Mines a baby still BUT he has moments where he gets mad
Blu he's a funny character 🤣
Blue, want to see him get a bath !!!
You gatta ask him to make a video now😂
even get an appointment next ;)
Blue....yeah, more tipps please
That's my dragon. Only bigger than mine. Tried everything to get my dragon used to me, but nope, still bit-bite-hissing.
my dragon is still little and acts like this she opens her mouth and run away soon as I open the tank
My tip how to tame a bearded dragon is like giving food talking Tom talk to him cuz like I think bearded dragons are smart talk to him my bearded dragon is not mean he's like he goes on my shoulder
Blue….ive got one and he’s a bit temperamental. 😂
Love blue
Wilbert is a fire cracker, but Blue is a pistol! I wondered if that was why we didn't see him so much in your videos. Will he eventually tame down, or does he possibly just have a less desirable temperament? I could see how some people might like a challenge, but you also want to see improvement. What is Saturn's temper like?
Juvenile dragons are so much fun.😂
yes they are ! just take a coffe a little snack and watch this dragons go wild in their tanks :D
Would love to see his bath time!! 😅
My girl is like him. She's older then she's so crazy. She's spicy.
