After you’re done with Rush Hour, for another Jackie Chan movie mixed with American culture you should really try Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Knights which are wild west themed movies starring Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson. They have a really great dynamic together. So in a way you kinda get Rush Hour vibes from it but it’s also very unique.

"Rotten tomatoes is just kinda dogshit" You can say that again.
That aside, I can't wait to see your Rush Hour 3 reaction. The Rush Hour trilogy is probably my favorite comedy trilogy.

I grew up with Rush Hour, so I love all of them and also I don't trust rotten tomatoes they suck at rating movies. I one time saw a movie with a low rating from them and it wasn't nearly as bad as the rating suggested.

Lots of critics rate every movie like it's supposed to be an Oscar contender, but obviously not all movies are meant for that. Like Rush Hour is just a fun lighthearted series, isnt supposed to be taken super seriously.

I mean just because something you liked is rated lowly doesn't mean they suck at rating. That's simply just movies, no one is ever going to agree on every movie. But it's still more reliable then any other.

Jackie Chan was/is such an icon to me and my siblings growing up. Like growing up asian in america was rough bc u never saw asians as good guys or having any depth. Not to mention speaking english. Jackie had other american released movies but it wasn't until the rush hour movies that people took notice. He's the g.o.a.t. for real!

I love all the Rush Hour movies, even 3. They are supposedly making a Rush Hour 4 but who knows when that's coming or even if they are still making it. I hope they do, I love these movies. But even if they don't we still have an amazing trilogy of action comedy movies.

Rush Hour is a classic, legendary comedy stuff, they dont make them like that anymore :P the closest to this I can think of would probably be RED which is more recent thats pretty damn hilarious, you could check that out as well, all star cast :D but first after this one Shanghai Noon gotta come :)

This was really nostalgic, I loved this series as a kid. I love the comedy in them because I take it with context. I think the “weird cancel culture” argument is kinda superficial dude, this movie was made over 20 years ago, people shouldn’t judge it by the standards of today. But also we shouldn’t just accept if something like it is released today, people have the right to be upset of something attacks them, even if unintentionally. And people are free to make these jokes or continue to make movies like this, just don’t whine if people push you back over it.

That's Ernie Reyes jr. Mostly known for Surf Ninjas. A horrible 90's kids movie. The little dude they chased out of the building when Kenny told Lee and Carter about him.
A great movie he's in is the Rundown if you never seen it. It's one of those early the Rock movies. It's great action, not like the Fast and Furious movies nowadays. And it's super hilarious. You should watch it 😁

Jackie has done a lot of sequels to multiple franchises.
This was the first one for Tucker and he got a $20 million payday.
Chris Tucker actually became good friends with Michael Jackson.
They did the video for "You Rock My World" together (good watch too).
Rush Hour 3 was going to be in New York and Jackie was excited for it.
He made one of his first American studio films in NY called "The Protector" (1985).
9/11 went down and changed everything.
Jackie was also going to do a movie with the working title "Nosebleed",
that was coincidently about the twin towers and a terrorist plot.
So Rush Hour 3 is set in different places and not New York.
Other than that, RH2 was one of the best summer films of 2001.

    10:30 embarrassed versus dead? Hmmm…that’s a tough one…lemme think…

So what if it’s embarrassing, they’re lucky to not be dead…

i dont remember if youve seen it yet, but The Foreigner on Netflix is an awesome movie starring Jackie Chan. it's got very similar action, especially the stunts and environmental use except its a way darker tone compared to the Rush Hour movies. a big favorite in my opinion

Have you noticed that ever since Child's Play in 1988, almost every time someone falls out of a window, they land on a car? In was a big deal in Child's Play. Now it even happens in Captain America movies.
