Pile 3 and a rant : a roommate who was a decade older than me told me I don't communicate with her and made her uncomfortable- I knew her for barely 3 months and I was going through multiple events at once which made me extremely fragile at the time. It's crazy you say mother figure because she literally made people call her mom. She talked behind my back to everyone she knew (multiple times) saying that I was crazy, especially with our other roommates. Even a parent of one of my roommates- whom I've never spoken to before, 'checked up' on me. The crazy part is, I was emotional in front of her maybe one or two times when I got my bad news. I regret crying to her about my career and family. I can't believe I didn't see that she was getting off of my hardship, especially when she was the one denying the reality of my dreams and calling my sadness, 'crazy.' I'm now recovering from what happened, and I won competitions with the same ideas she told me were awful. If anything, I agree with you that she was jealous. Because everything I was sad for, were things that were taken from me and things she could not have. So accurate. I dated this guy who was sweet and kind at first and did a complete 180. He started calling me names, threatening me, became very verbally abusive. I did a search on his name, come to find out he was a full blown criminal who was in and out of prison and jail 18 times! Once for beating up a harmless old man in his 70s. Had 3 children for 3 different women and took care of none of them and blamed the mothers when in reality he couldn’t see his kids because of how mentally unstable he was. Everything was always my fault and took accountability for none of his actions. He brought my self esteem down so low, he called me goofy looking, bald, ugly, nasty things I can’t even repeat on here. I even reached out to one of his exes and she told me he threatened to harm her and her unborn child. So she had to lie about where she was going to get away from him. Leaving all her belongings in the process. He was possessive and didn’t allow his gfs to leave his side. So they had to flee for their lives. He would threaten to k*ll himself if they said they were going to leave…I also was told he was an animal abuser. Towards the end of our connection I found this true when he told me he was going to sl*t his cats throat. Enough was enough. He has a HORRIBLE reputation and I’m glad he showed his true colors before I got too involved. He WILL receive his karma.

a roommate who was a decade older than me told me I don't communicate with her and made her uncomfortable- I knew her for barely 3 months and I was going through multiple events at once which made me extremely fragile at the time. It's crazy you say mother figure because she literally made people call her mom. She talked behind my back to everyone she knew (multiple times) saying that I was crazy, especially with our other roommates. Even a parent of one of my roommates- whom I've never spoken to before, 'checked up' on me. The crazy part is, I was emotional in front of her maybe one or two times when I got my bad news. I intentionally isolated myself so that I don't bother my roommates. I recorded their conversation as proof, and with it when I confronted them, they told me that I was sensitive and that they were 'just too worried for me.' I regret crying to her about my career and family. I can't believe I didn't see that she was getting off of my hardship, especially when she was the one denying the reality of my dreams and calling my sadness, 'crazy.' I'm now recovering from what happened, and I won competitions with the same ideas she told me were awful. If anything, I agree with you that she was jealous. Because everything I was sad for, were things that were taken from me and things she could not have. I take this as a learning moment in the long run, but I always get emotional thinking about her and my roommates.

So accurate. I dated this guy who was sweet and kind at first and did a complete 180. He started calling me names, threatening me, became very verbally abusive. I did a search on his name, come to find out he was a full blown criminal who was in and out of prison and jail 18 times! Once for beating up a harmless old man in his 70s. Had 3 children for 3 different women and took care of none of them and blamed the mothers when in reality he couldn’t see his kids because of how mentally unstable he was. Everything was always my fault and took accountability for none of his actions. He brought my self esteem down so low, he called me goofy looking, bald, ugly, nasty things I can’t even repeat on here. I even reached out to one of his exes and she told me he threatened to harm her and her unborn child. So she had to lie about where she was going to get away from him. Leaving all her belongings in the process. He was possessive and didn’t allow his gfs to leave his side. So they had to flee for their lives. He would threaten to k*ll himself if they said they were going to leave…I also was told he was an animal abuser. Towards the end of our connection I found this true when he told me he was going to sl*t his cats throat. Enough was enough. He has a HORRIBLE reputation and I’m glad he showed his true colors before I got too involved. He WILL receive his karma.
