Even with the super computer in his brain I don't think it'd be easy for him to get close and rip apart the suit. After all the suit has kinetic charges. So even if he does get close he can get knocked back. That's touge within itself.

Midnighter doesn't take this in the least. I like Midnighter a little more than BP to be honest but I didn't hear a reason how he would win the battle here. All I heard is that he _should_ win but I don't see how that's possible with someone who's basically a spiritual version of himself when it comes to being able to access information from a source and apply it to defeating an opponent. But I get it, it's comics, and in order for these characters to not be so OP all the time writers decide what they can and can't do in any given moment.
