Definitely the best episode so far. Dividing up the players like this and forcing each of them to find/solve stuff, communicate and cooperate really helps each person have their moment and offsets the quarterback problem where one person takes charge and just tells everybody else what to do.
I’ve never heard of it called the quarterback problem I’d like to know names for other escape room problems There’s an escape room type show that rooster teeth is showing called weird place that had a separation communication type puzzle The group was split in two One group had a light board with a display that asked for a particular combination of numbers The lights on the light board were numbered They also had a microphone device In another room, the other group had the receiver for that microphone, directions for the combinations, and buttons to go along with the lights The idea was, group a could talk to group b but group b couldn’t talk back Group b had the information but needed to find a way to relay it to group A Also As a punishment A loud honking noise played in group B’s room when group A made a mistake on the code
Giving the 'extra time' clues for the viewer to figure out was a good addition. It would have been cool to know what would have happened if they got that clue.

Well, coincidentally, the name of The Helper trying to get Amber, Alison, Dan and Josh out of prison is also called Eddie! MY THEORY Eddie (Serial Killer) was caught and arrested by the police and sent to prison. Eddie (Serial Killer) escapes prison and now is trying to help other people get out of prison (because he want revenge on the justice system). Eddie (Serial Killer) becomes Eddie (The Helper). I have a feeling that the name "Eddie" will be used in later "Escape!" escape rooms and will further flesh out the story of "Eddie".
Plus I believe the set for the "dungeon" escape room would have been Eddie's previous serial killer lair! Nice job connecting across rooms I totally missed that

Also, interestingly, if you look at the etymology, both of the words "nauseous" and "nauseated" have had both meanings "having nausea" and "causing nausea" throughout history. It looks like both words basically had the same original meaning, "to be afflicted with nausea" back in the early 1600's, but then at different times, each of them flipped to mean "to cause nausea" (it obviously varies depending on which source you're looking at). Then at some point formal rules of publication/writing settled on "nauseous" as "causing nausea", but the spoken vernacular never adopted that rule, so people were still saying, "I feel nauseous" and then getting corrected by pretentious English majors, a tradition which continues to this day. But the word for smells is "noxious", a related but different word. So :P
I think this is best room so far from all of the episodes I've seen. Not to easy and not too hard and each person was able to contribute (or had the potential to contribute)

I'm impressed that they got out, but I think I'm more impressed that they did it without using their hourglass clue. I hope they had it explained to them at some point before they left the set.

and JOSH killed the team like SO HARD! (Also DAN... but I admit his room is kinda empty with these 4 phrases which doesnt prove anything since they didnt get the 'Eddie' clue)
One of the better puzzle rooms. I really like this one. There were no huge connection leaps, people had to work together, no one could just stand and watch, and no one could hog all the clues. Very well done. The bonus clue was easy, but I was not under the stress that these guys were under. 'Hang sheet from window.'

19:50 the Roman numerals beside each word in order spell out “Eddie aldehyde gets the last word”, if you take the last word from each sentence from cell C4 it reads “hang sheet from window”. Took me about 20 seconds to figure that out.
The wall miscomm was so frustrating to watch. 3 by 7, and they're trying to solve a 4x4 grid. If it had dawned on Amber earlier what the 3 by 7 clue in Josh's cell was referring to, the clue wouldn't be needed and could have been saved for something else.
I would love to do an escape room, but I think I would botch it royally. It is so easy to miss something obvious and get stuck on one of the red herrings.

thepudgyninja my first escape room was a ground of 12 people separated into 4 rooms. The communication and teamwork aspect was really great.

The time bonus puzzle was really easy if you had all the clues, but getting all the information between them would've taken serious coordination

the roman numerals one is " Eddie always gets the last word." So you look at the C4s clues and see that it says " Hang sheet from window."
