- Creamy Garlic Pasta with Crispy Salami is a delicious and easy pasta dish that is perfect for a quick weeknight meal. I used fresh pasta for this recipe, you can of course also used dry. The pasta is cooked al dente and then tossed in a creamy sauce made with garlic, chicken stock, cream, and Parmesan cheese. The dish is then topped with pops of crispy salami for a flavourful and satisfying dish.

Salami is a great cooking ingredient. I have my deli slice Genoa salami paper thin and crisp it in a hot pan. Honestly, it's better (and cheaper) than bacon! Here in the States, heavy cream is getting a bit too scarce and expensive. Overall, this is terrific, easy and inexpensive meal to prepare! Thanks for sharing.

You know what , joel?? I prefer THIS recipe to Carbonara!!Indeed!Which can become very dry and ....fatty !! Like I prefer my own smoked salmon recipe to Carbonara! Which is so similar to this one! Only the salmon pieces are not cooked, but added at the end of the crème- chicken stock cooking. Well, Joel, inspiration in cooking is SO essential! And you are a master on it, even with traditional recipes! 👍❤️❣️
a well made carbonara won’t be dry and between heavy cream and eggs yolks I’m not really sure which one makes a sauce fattier.. either way a carbonara is a completely different concept to a cream sauce..
I know very well this smell of salami when it's roasted in a pan, It's stunning aroma,
And this pasta looks like precious golden ribbons inlaid with beautiful bright red ruby stones, it looks glamorous.

I have made a lot sauce in my life but there is one i just never got around to.
As i went to chefschool my teacher told us that we were lucky that we went to school "now" (that was in '91) and not in the seventies when he did
For his exam he to make a Cafe' de Paris sauce from scratch and he told us there were almost 30 ingredients that he had to memorize for this.
So i guess my question is, can you do a classic version of this sauce for us?
It seems there are not too many vids on YT showing this and i would like to see a real chef do it, if its not too much work for just a video ofcourse.

This surpassed my expectations. Wife and I could only eat half, and we only added half of the pasta, so keep in mind. We will only cook half of 14 Oz pkg next time with rest of ingredients about the same.
