@@GetitDirty did you get a performance programed key, or just the factory one?
@@stevenpope9304 only got the white key. My friend got 2 keys, white and green, dealership told him green key is work mode. I'm assuming white key is the performance.
@@GetitDirty so the key that came with the machine allows it to go 45 mph. I went back to the dealer so they could finish a plow mount instal. Left with two keys programmed for performance. With those it’s a lot faster. The fastest I’ve gone so far is 75mph. Can’t do that with the original key. My machine will toggle between sport work and regular via a switch on the bars. But only with the original key.
@@stevenpope9304 I've heard some people get those from factory, nobody I know got one. They all must have the performance key.

Nice ride! I have a 2018 Outlander max 850. Absolutely love it. APD or Halifax Motorsports will get your tires for you. I went with 28's. I also have a good setup for phone charging too if you don't come up with something.
Nice! Did the dealer tell you only go up one size in tires? Told us dealer might void warranty if they went 28's.
@@GetitDirty Did the tires a couple of months after warranty was up. I have never had much faith in dealer warranty for anything. If it's not the tires they use as an excuse it will be something else to keep from helping when you need it. I sure hope I'm wrong in your case though. Lol

I need to know more about that set up for the fuel tank. My dealer wasn't sure how to. Otherwise I might get the bracket that mounts the fuel can vertical off the cargo box

@@GetitDirty I got the xmr 1000r and honestly will be doing more trial than mud lol. So looking at spare tank options. I like that set up you have. I'm assuming that's the jetski tank but wasn't sure about how to attach it using the linq system. What are the parts that I'd need? Thanks!
The tank is interchangeable with most newer can ams with the linq system. They only sell you the anchors that need to be screwed down to the rack or maybe you could use it to mount on your storage box. They bought a linq anchor kit that just twists into the rack for easy tool less removal. It was pretty hard to twist them in. On the largest of the 3 tanks the middle anchor is not needed. Not sure about the other 2 size tanks. One side of the tank slips under the anchor, while the other side has a locking mechanism. I can post the part number in the description.👍
@@GetitDirty thanks! Ya I'd take the cargo box off if I'm with another quad more than likely. If with a passenger I might have to attach to the box since the other quad is a different manufacturer. Thanks for the info!
@@achoefs your welcome! They have a bag that is stackable. Will mount on top of the tank also. If you were to remove your cargo box and still wanted some storage.

Was this in Dartmouth Nova Scotia cuz they're really expensive order pdi and Freight $15 more in Newfoundland go figure same thing with the Can-Am dealer in Halifax not very good dealers just too pricey in the salesperson's they're cocky
@@robbieburt4493 yeah this was in Dartmouth the salesman was a friend of friend lol we were joking around a bit. The parts guy we dealt with was the cocky dude. I agree the pdi and freight is way to much.
