in tagalog, we say "chaa" (there's a glottal stop in between the two a's, with the stress being on the final syllable)

Tea=Transporte Ervas Aromáticas. (Portuguese for Aromatic Herbs Transport) branded in tea bags from Portuguese India to Europe. Chai or Chá is the common term in far east even in Portuguese, the first to introduce it to Europe.

Interestingly enough tea in Polish is herbatka. I believe they use this word because Slavs probably have been drinking dried plants(herbs) long before dried tea leaves were introduced to Europe.
