    25:14 views like that make all the rain and wind worthwhile. Great video

    All power to you Richard, that is some hard going and you showed real grit. That last ascent was breathtaking. Looking forward to more.

    Good effort, takes some resolve to keep battling on when the weather is fighting you all the way. The view of Ben Nevis from Carn Mor Dearg was simply epic.

    I’m very much enjoying your content - no over the top extravagance but down to earth commentary and excellent adventures. You’ve also sold me on the Lanshan 1 (however I did go for the larger 2021 double skin rather than the pro) - to be honest I’ve been using an expensive Tarptent Scarp 1 for the past couple of years, but I’m very keen to drop almost 1kg of weight as I’m always carrying a fair amount of photography gear, the Scarp does also take up a fair amount of space, I’ll probably just use that now as a dedicated deep winter season tent. Again thanks for the content.

      No worries Ash, thank you. I think the larger double skin is a good choice for the UK. I tend to pitch the Lanshan 1 Pro with the doors up to combat condensation

    That was a beast of a route you both chose to do. The whole video was brilliant and the views were amazing. Uploads are few and far between but it's worth the wait every time. 👍

    Magnificent landscapes with these clouds! Thanks for the sharing.
    What is the brand of your shoulder bag? 3F, Naturehike or is it handmade?

    • @RichardCheng
      @RichardCheng  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Robin. It’s from a cottage manufacturer called treadlitegear in the UK, I have a link in my 3F backpack review video.

    a superb & challenging route you picked there.. shame about the views on the tops but at least you finished with a stunner.
    i'm guessing it's too early to have a decision on the carbon poles but any problems with the clamps.. are they plastic?
    thanks for a great video

    • @RichardCheng
      @RichardCheng  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! The trekking poles have been fantastic so far, they don’t have any clamps - held by titanium sections and elastic that runs through. Brilliantly held the Lanshan up too through the windy night

    Good to see you back, great route by the looks of it.
    How is the Neomax holding up after a year or two now?

    • @RichardCheng
      @RichardCheng  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Darren. The Neomax’s still doing a fine job of being a tripod. I double check that I’ve fully locked all the legs though if I’m leaving my camera on it unattended

    Incredible views Richard! Very cool place indeed.
    Quick question, how you like the Lanshan Pro vs the regular Lanshan so far? Any real advantage to silnylon vs silpoly especially in these kind of conditions?

    • @RichardCheng
      @RichardCheng  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Alex. I prefer the Pro to the regular Lanshan for its size. I’ve not been able to tell performance differences in real life - both are excellent in my experience

    • @MrAlexDavid
      @MrAlexDavid 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RichardCheng thanks! So basically both will sag in humid/ rainy condition as per you experience…

    • @RichardCheng
      @RichardCheng  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep, not a deal breaker for me, just need a bit of additional tensioning to sort it out. Often when it rains overnight I stay in the tent with no issues
