Ok, ok, I know this is three years old but I had a vision for this character(characters?). So everything in the of movie happens until we get to the injector, and the female is the first one we see, then the camera pans out and we see the male one. But they have one slight difference, instead of a whole heart, they each have a half of a heart. The male on representing Spinel’s anger, and the female half representing the fact that Spinel had gone insane. During the song they have different choreography allowing it to be a duet. During the small solo the male one has, we go to the 4 fighting them, seeing reactions from each of them, allowing Pearl to use the new line of, “Why are there two of them? I only knew one.” Then the the remaining lines lead up to the climax while he’s singing his solo. During the “Allegiance to her I had sworn” part, the camera zooms back to the male and he delivers the line, then the camera goes black and has a pink diamond morph into a pink rose with the detail of thorns standing out. But then the female hears it. Then she she starts the next part, during “LET’S BEGIN!” Part they fuse into a larger Spinel who acts more like she does in the movie, except they are referred to using they/them pronouns seeing as they are two different gems of different genders. Then they fight as canon, but instead of the regular scythe, they have a double bladed scythe. Then the fight goes as canon. I would love to see this animated, and I would pay money to see it. Sorry if there were any issues with punctuation or grammar, and thank you for reading me rant about a character whose personality split so much that they basically became different people. Now if you’ll excuse me, my thumbs need a break.
I like the fact that regular spinel had a manic face while male spinel had an enraged face indicating that he was still sane and she wasn't and he was enraged by the fact that she had gone insane

I imagine that at "let's play another game" part they pull out their gem scythes, fuse and activate their fused items turning it into a dual scythe.
