They already swear a lot in the anime, idk how they rate that shit in Japan. In Poland 16+ is basic nudity like breasts, swearing and violence. Grimmjow had probably one of the most baddas entries in all of anime. The chapters in the manga when everyone is just chilling in Karakura and after each page another part of Grimmjow was shown to us and when he fully appears he just says ,,kill them all" was fire AF also the way he just walked over Ichigo. For this time in the story Ichigo spend all the time getting stronger in Soul Society arc and getting his Bankai to be albe to fight Byakuya and Grimmjow only had to use his HANDS in BASE against his Bankai and he was ,,only" number six. Point is Grimmjow was HIM and for me he still is 🔥🔥🔥
Nah placing him at #6 brings greater intensity at this point, imagine getting beaten up so badly and seeing him flexes just to realise he is not even at the middle level of the espada

The seal suppressing spiritual pressure is applied only on captains and other official Gotei 13 lieutenants/officers with near captain level. Ichigo has never acquired such a status and always remained an outsider despite his strong connection with Soul Society. Therefore, Ichigo was at full power/capacity when he first faced Grimmjow and got his ass kicked because that's how strong espadas are (once subject to Aizen transforming them with the Hogyoku), especially considering Grimmjow is the 6th strongest (so far from the "weakest" of the group). That's one reason that makes me so angry with the Quincys being so cheated in the last arc.

1) Because Ichigo's power is heavily suppressed here 2) Because this was setting the tone for the entire Espada/Arrancar, and Grimmjow was a litmus to show how brutal they are. 3) Taking Ichigo's power out of it entirely, Askin is still several hundred years old and is far more experienced in battle and life generally, which is why he's running from Grimmjow as opposed to fighting him head on, because Grimmjow would waste him. It's also worth noting that Tite Kubo has explicitly stated that Grimmjow has the potential for a 2nd ressurecion like Ulquiorra, so he's certainly no weakling.
Hollow is ichigos' real power. Zangetsu is his quincy. He was supresing half his true power, thinking it was a burden. That's why his hollow form always wrecked people. He was above them the whole time.
Always hated powerscaling during this arc. Ichigo got humiliated throughout this whole arc, and most of next one, they were hyping his reiatsu and stuff, but so little came from it. Dude could barely catch a break. Soul Society arc really was peak Ichigo, no matter how much I'd like to admit otherwise.
Arrancar is a type of evolution for hollows. When they break their masks and take an humanoid form, sealing their powers in their swords they become Arrancars, it does not matter if they were Gillian, adjuchas or vasto lordes before. And Espada is the rank. The 10 most powerful hollows take the rank as Espadas, but they don't necessarily need to be Arrancars. The 9 espada is a Gillian for example.

Even after a prep talk from Rukia, she still ends up taking point and fighting D-Roy (who Shawlong says was so weak he didn't think should be allowed to be a fraccione) because, as she says, Ichigo could get himself killed fighting in that state. The entire arc up to that point built up just how bad Ichigo's condition was, just how crippled he was by White trying to devour him and his fear of being devoured. He is nothing like the young hero invaded the Soul Society and faced down Byakuya's Bankai and (temporary) held his own. Even pressuring Byakuya. It's not until after training with the Vizards and subduing White, finding his killer instinct again, that he is back to his old self.
i find it weird how this is the only time in the series that ichigos getsuga actually does some damage, and that against an opponent that beat him up in his bankai with his bare hands, it doesnt make any logical sense.

@theBIGZ0 Kenpachi got stronger cause he nearly died. Nearly dying forces him to bring more of his original potential back. Plus Tousen got arrogant and completely underestimated Kenpachi. He may be untrained but his tactics and instincts are quite good. Kenpachi Able sense through deceptions somehow. Something only really Yammamoto and Unahana could do. Power scaling is A bit wonky but SS was really weak during the earlier arks because they never been really challenged in A long time. and many of the captains where younger. Only ones like Unahana, Yamammoto, The two with the twin zans where older captains. Kenpachi is older but he did not seem to be in the court guard squads for that long. Infact Kenpachi weakened himself to LT level and ran his squad Ragged trying to create A strong opponent. Partly why he refuses to Kill Baldie or ichigo when Ichigo was no longer sentenced to death for invading seretai. Ichigo's powers fluctuate A bit to Due to being part quincy. I think Ywach manipulated them at times.
This fight absolutely destroyed all semblance of scaling and logic for Bleach, forver. Later on we get lieutenants like Lisa fighting released Harribel while having neither her mask, nor her shikai out. Ichigo in his shikai JUST ONE SHOT 3 LIEUTENANTS GOING ALL OUT. And then he went straight into blitzing one of the fastest captains in bankai, with no mask. So jow can Grimmjow, without even reaching for a sword, even compare to Ichigo? Even in shikai, Ichigo should be pushing him to use his released form. All Ichigo has ishis speed and power. But if those have no consistency, nothing really matters. That's not a tiny hickup, it's a series stomper. Imagine Roshi showing up in Saiyan Saga and one shotting fully powered Vegeta by flicking his finger, without even buffing. That's how it feels. It's ridiculous. Ichigo's entire SS arc progressed was erased. What bullshit.

I've been a fan of bleach since i was a kid, and i've seen all of it multiple times. You're right, it's mostly trash. 90% of the episodes are either intentional filler or just pointless embarrassing padding. The other 10% is AMAZING and will stick in your memory forever. Also, the music is rad
Bleach is hands down my top 3 manga/anime, but I will say that filler is trash and there are some weird filler episodes in the hueco mundo/karakura town arc. But the parts that are done well are done really freaking well man. Almost every anime/manga has its weird hard to watch moments even today’s more popular series, including jjk

One thing i never got is how ichigo with just his shikai defeated Kenny and kenny defeated both tosen and That doghead and this tosen who got completely overpowered by kenny was able to intimidate grimjow and tgis grimjow dogwalked a ichigo who is 10 times as powerfull as the ichigo that defeated kenny maybe even more.. Well who cares bleach is still peak r8

@theBIGZ0 Kenpachi got stronger cause he nearly died. Nearly dying forces him to bring more of his original potential back. Plus Tousen got arrogant and completely underestimated Kenpachi. He may be untrained but his tactics and instincts are quite good. Kenpachi Able sense through deceptions somehow. Something only really Yammamoto and Unahana could do. Power scaling is A bit wonky but SS was really weak during the earlier arks because they never been really challenged in A long time. and many of the captains where younger. Only ones like Unahana, Yamammoto, The two with the twin zans where older captains. Kenpachi is older but he did not seem to be in the court guard squads for that long. Infact Kenpachi weakened himself to LT level and ran his squad Ragged trying to create A strong opponent. Partly why he refuses to Kill Baldie or ichigo when Ichigo was no longer sentenced to death for invading seretai. Ichigo's powers fluctuate A bit to Due to being part quincy. I think Ywach manipulated them at times.

This fight absolutely destroyed all semblance of scaling and logic for Bleach, forver. Later on we get lieutenants like Lisa fighting released Harribel while having neither her mask, nor her shikai out. Ichigo in his shikai JUST ONE SHOT 3 LIEUTENANTS GOING ALL OUT. And then he went straight into blitzing one of the fastest captains in bankai, with no mask. So jow can Grimmjow, without even reaching for a sword, even compare to Ichigo? Even in shikai, Ichigo should be pushing him to use his released form. All Ichigo has ishis speed and power. But if those have no consistency, nothing really matters. That's not a tiny hickup, it's a series stomper. Imagine Roshi showing up in Saiyan Saga and one shotting fully powered Vegeta by flicking his finger, without even buffing. That's how it feels. It's ridiculous. Ichigo's entire SS arc progressed was erased. What bullshit.

Вот за многое можно похвалить арку аранкар, но это просто очередная сюжетная дыра паверлвлов.
Где Бьякуя с Кенпачи играючи одним мизинцем побеждают 0 экспаду, а Ичиго что побеждал Бьякую не может осилить Гримджоу на чиле на расслабоне

I've been a fan of bleach since i was a kid, and i've seen all of it multiple times. You're right, it's mostly trash. 90% of the episodes are either intentional filler or just pointless embarrassing padding. The other 10% is AMAZING and will stick in your memory forever. Also, the music is rad
Bleach is hands down my top 3 manga/anime, but I will say that filler is trash and there are some weird filler episodes in the hueco mundo/karakura town arc.
But the parts that are done well are done really freaking well man. Almost every anime/manga has its weird hard to watch moments even today’s more popular series, including jjk
