whatever you are doing is really making YT happy. whenever i search specific scx24 stuff your videos always show up at the top. i am going down the rabbit hole of upgrades and knowledge and your channel has proven to be a great resource
Bro I’m obsessed… I’ve watched an embarrassing amount of your content this last few days. Can’t wait for my bronco to show up Tuesday so I can start modding and wheeling!!
If you drill the remaining spare tire shaft running through the body, you can run a screw from the inside out and remount your spare tire whenever you wish. Your videos and rigs are great... Thanx for doin what you do.
Dude! That really stepped up the Bronco's game! I can't bring myself to trim mine though, I'm just afraid of screwing it all up. You pulled it off though man, good job! Thanks for another great episode Adam, take care!!!
its really nice when the money you spend translates to real world performance. i feel like a lot of people spend money just to spend money, its awesome when your dollar makes a huge difference
This is so true. I have contemplated making a video on the ROI of our modifications. Sometimes I feel like it's wasted time and money. But every once in a while you hit a home run like we did in this video. So we keep chasing those upgrades!
Thanks for sharing this build, Adam! Have already started upgrading my Bronco and slowly doing things to it as time/$$ allow. Was thinking about those Treal products and now am convinced I need to upgrade my upgrades. LOL!! The Injora stuff is nice and reasonably priced, but as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for." Keep the content coming, man, dig watching the excitement you bring, and especially the build developments!!
Thanks Jon! I have been buying more and more Treal products lately because the quality is apparent. I love Injora products as well, but Treal has really stepped up their game lately and are offering some killer products. These knuckles are gorgeous!
Pretty sick now. It does really well for having that hard body. You are going to have to make your course more challenging now that you have more capable rigs!
Great build. Love your channel. Weight is a beautiful thing on these trucks. I like to wrap lead straps around my bead locks on the inside of the tire. Metal bumpers help a lot too, especially in the front. Thanks
Thank you! I’m thinking about doing a video about added weight through non-traditional tire inserts. I saw someone assemble their tires under water to fill the tires with water!
Great video as always. I recently cut my jeep fenders off. I went back n forth on it for sure! I picked up a wireless Dremel tool, and man it rocks for cleaning up those cuts!
It did pretty well with smaller tires and long travel shocks, but to get the most out of the shocks and to run big tires, I had to cut it. I agree about the spare (or lack of)!
This should have been Part 4.. those tires made all the difference, IMO. You didn’t hear the axles scraping, the tires were like glue. All good fun, cheers!
Amazing series of videos! I have the blue Bronco with a few good upgrades but I wasn't as organized as you were. I would love to transform my truck to a monster like yours! Congratulations on this kick ass build!
Yeah big difference, hey there’s a guy on TH-cam and he makes and sells front bumper relocation brackets they Bolt right up to the frame rails and straight out instead of drop down then out. I bought two sets got them on my Broncos

Thanks Stefan! I am surprised your gladiator is still in transit! I just tracked it and can see it's still on the move though. You are more patient than I am!
@@CapeCrawlers Nowadays logistics takes its time. And I can fill the waiting time with your videos 👍🏻 For sure I will inform you as soon as the gladiator arrives…
Why didn’t you use a drimmel to cut the body? I like using mine on all of the Scx body styles. I turn the power up for hard bodies and go as slow as possible. You did a good job on it though. I trimmed my bronco body to make it look like yours but I have a grey body. I am using LGRP gripper tires too. I like how you built this truck
Axles? Also, I shaved my Bronce and know a quick and easy way to perfection if interested. Either way, sweet build, starting to get excited about my build. It's like the saying goes, measure twice, cut once! Seriously close to $650ish and still learning, research first, buy once. That said, been the best time getting back into R/C, love all the toys.
Just watched a video short with gladiator on 3s, where did you find the door hinges and hood vents. I've installed handles, mirrors, snorkel, roof rack, light bar, sliders, and headlights in the grill
You might can try the old rubber band trick and limit the front again just to change the l c g. All that weight will stress the weaker parts but it looks pretty stout! 👍Good Job bro!
If I’m not mistaken that is a Ford color, you should be able to get some touch up paint at the parts store. Get 2 pair of lexan scissors, straight pair & curved pair.
Great vid Adam. I really enjoyed watching your bronco build series, so much so I watch them all back to back. Do you have any plans to install portals to your Bronco? Keep the vids coming.
I'm glad you enjoy them! I have axle plans, but not specifically portals. The wheelbase and the big tires seem to glide over obstacles pretty well and I don't feel the need for portals on this one.
This is very exciting for me cuz I done the same thing but I used a Dremel and I used a little cut off wheel but I'm telling you at the same time and cuts it and also melt lasting Phoenix pain so bad so I have some cleanup work to do too but we all know rock climbers are going to be beat up a little bit so I think I'm going to leave like that

Hello, I did the same build as yours, but once I install my shocks the same place you install them it seems that the servo is binding with my chassis, it’s going too low that it doesn’t let the servo do its full motion/turn, sometimes it gets stuck, I’m not running bumper! Same bronco same color haha, do you think I should upgrade my chassis for the injora lcg? Or what should I do!!
I had to trim the servo ears to avoid collision with the frame rails. Can also try slightly filing down the inside of the chassis rails to make more room
I have that same bumper as well as the stinger style. I hate how it fits but 2 things I’m gonna try is flipping my metal bumper mount so it raises the bumper as well as gonna try gwrc’s flush bumper mounts that he makes. Should make a huge difference on look for realism!
My next mod is going to be flipping the stock mounts. I have the flush mounts, but even those still leave a gap. I think the flipped mounts will be perfect.
@@CapeCrawlers you can get a metal bumper mount that will make the bumper very solid to the frame. I seemed to like it much better then having a metal front bumper that had movement
I think it’s a great series on this build so far and a solid build overall. You’ve taken a not overly capable stock bronco and turned it into a trail ready go getter. 👍👍clean er up and take your wife to dinner bronco Either way classy. And by the way sometimes the spare is just sitting back at camp 😉
Hey Adam, this is my second time through the bronco build series if that says anything about the great quality of your videos and all the info you share! I do have a question as I slowly upgrade my bronco. I recently added extended axle shafts/stub shafts to mine but I notice that almost any kind of steering angle while trying to move forward I get what seems like binding to the point it almost doesnt wanna move. Have you experienced anything like this and did you find a remedy for it? Any help is appreciated, thanks again for the primo series!
I appreciate you watching a second time! I have experienced this, in fact I am experiencing it right now with my new AX24. I am going to try different combinations of axles to see if I can remedy it. Of all of my rigs I have only run into this once, so I'm troubleshooting as I go. But I am fairly certain it will be a new set of front axles to cure the issue.
Thanks for the reply! I figured that would more than likely be the solve for me too but I thought I'd ask. I'm thinking super 8's might be the only fix, at least that's what I'll tell my wife lol thanks again
@@CapeCrawlers yeah it happens on flat ground that back wheel nuts seem to be fine but if I tighten the front they don’t want to spin and if I don’t the wheels fall off I put a washer and still didn’t work
