I cracked out on this the last 24 hour's and it's pretty ok. With some relatively minor improvements the devs could make it a much better game. Starting with Power Ranger themed music, what the hell is that?
As a fan of the pr since childhood and learning about business PR right now is in its darkest age. To sum up why lets go start with what you said do a reboot that actually was the plan. To make a new universe more mature teen like show and or movies on Netflix. Netflix was the main home for PR for years along with nickelodeon. PR Dino Fury was the main one on Netflix. Cosmic fury was the follow up and send off to the old PR universe before the reboot. Long story short the reboot is no longer happening. The Ceo of Hasbro who bought the franchise from his friend Saban, and had big plans for the franchise died form cancer. The purchase of PR also didnt go through Hasbros R&D team so the purchase was surprise and plans weren't made before hand. His son took over as CEO of the company and is running it into the ground. Hasbro didn't want to do the reboot but something else and Netflix basically said fuck off. PR only has one game for a third party, PR legacy wars still going on which I have played since Launch, this game and maybe some other foreign ones. They arent even making the toys now that s all playmates now. To top it all off they are auctioning new and old costumes from MMPR Dino Fury, Cosmic Fury (even the new lord zed suit) and more which is a bad sign overall. Hell I heard Nicki minaji has Ritas staff and something else like actually dafuq. The only good thing they got going is the renewal of the rights at Boom studios for the comics. Its sad to see another franchise die because of dumb companies. Ill prob play this game for a bit but with no email binding is bs so it def not a main stay.
