Thank you, Gary, I watched a few videos on this topic but only yours presented the information in a clear and well structured way, without unnecessary details and complications but in the meantime successfully providing the full context needed. Great work!😊
Dived deeply into those long articles explaining the difference but could not get the gist of these terms. Well spent 10 mins on this video! Thanks a lot...
Here again. Can i convert a group to a tag? If I send out a landing page with groups for signups to self identify when imported can I convert from a group to a tag, tags being unlimited .
Hi Gary! Our parish and school uses Mailchimp and we have many crossover subscribers. Currently, we have them each as a separate audience, however after watching this video, I'm wondering if it would be better to have one audience, and have them all in once place. If this is preferred, should I create a group for "parishioners", a group for "academy" and a group for both "parish and academy?" Or, should I designate this in tags? Then, when I generate an email campaign, do I use the segmenting button to target them? Or target them with groups or tags? I also would like to create a" sign-up new subscribers" form where they can choose to designate which mailing list they would like to receive. Do you have a great video for this? Thank you?
Hi, yes, use a Single Audience and then use Groups to categorize your contacts. The Preferences Center will help; see th-cam.com/video/cPz3x3DSC0M/w-d-xo.html

Hi Vanessa, you can certainly set up a Customer Journey so that when a contact is Grouped X, they are automatically tagged X.
