- Today we are taking on the second boss of Scorched Earth Ascended - The Beta Manticore. This time we are using our Lightning Wyvern army for the boss fight

It will be an exciting journey to see all the ARKs in an upgraded graphical state from what ARK Survival Evolved was into what ARK Survival Ascended has become using the new Unreal Engine. We will be doing some vanilla ARK Survival Ascended gameplay as well as modded ARK Survival Ascended gameplay throughout our journey as well as a ton of ARK Survival Ascended base building on each of the ARKS so sit back, relax & join me on our journey in our ARK Survival Ascended gameplay!
•About ARK: Scorched Earth Ascended:
Stranded dehydrated & starving in a vast desert, even the most seasoned ARK survivors must quickly find water, hunt for food, harvest, craft items, and build shelter to have any chance for survival. Use skills honed on ARK's faraway Island to kill, tame, breed, and ride the fantastical new creatures that have evolved to survive the Desert's ultra harsh conditions, including... DRAGONS! Travel back and forth between the Island and the Desert to team up with hundreds of players across both worlds or play locally!
EXPLORE A NEW WORLD
Scorched Earth takes ARK players to an entirely new land, composed of six unique, desert themed biomes - dunes, high desert, mountains, canyons, badlands and oasis - each with their own aesthetic and ecosystem. Littered with ruins, geysers, and intricate ancient cave systems, survivors will find a whole new frontier to explore and master.
TAME NEW CREATURES
The biomes of Scorched Earth are filled with dangerous new creatures, and the intrepid survivor will find that many of them can be tamed. Among others, lead a caravan of the camel-like Morellatops, or rain fire down upon your enemies from the back of an elemental Wyvern. Just mind your step, or you might attract a Death Worm!
CRAFT OVER 50 NEW ITEMS
Using what resources they can scrounge together, survivors can craft distinct new outfits and structures to beat the heat, and new tools to help them survive in this desolate environment. Players can use whips, boomerangs, flamethrowers, chainsaws, and much more to defend themselves, or such things as tents, wells, wind turbines, and oil refineries to provide their bases with resources. When used creatively, these tools can open up whole new strategies for survival, self defense or epic tribal warfare.
CONQUER NEW CHALLENGES
Prepare yourself for dangerous electrical storms, blinding sand storms, befuddling heat stroke, and unleash the power of the mysterious Obelisks to come face-to-face with the ARK’s deadliest boss creature to date - the ferocious Manticore! Does it protect a powerful weapon, a precious relic, or the mysteries of the ARK itself? Only survivors who posses the courage to confront this fearsome beast will learn the truth

The stats on the lighting wyverns is extremely high well done.
Was a really good egg
2 things:
1. The poison balls on the wyverns DO NOT do torpor…the lightning blast does torpor but 9 out of 10 times kills you before you get knocked out. To test this just shout a poison ball at the ground in front and go stand in it. No torpor but it does damage.
2. The gas clouds from the manticore DO apply damage if you stay in the cloud. The gas mask allows you not to take damage from it. And you know the spikes from manticore do torpor but I’ve never been hit by that while mounted. Not sure if that’s possible or not.
Very nice smooth bossfight again! Good prep payed off now i think those fire wyverns are ready for it if you get the breed pair set up. But you still need to get milk and talons so might as well grab a couple more fire eggs
Yea will check the trench again for a few more eggs. Need a male one anyways all the ones I have are female

Great video! How do you 'set up' the AI lightning attacks?
It's in the radial menu you have to select each time you throw them out of a cryo

Quite a bit left on SE to do then we will finish the Beta/Alpha Overseer on The Island then hopefully The Center will be out

I wish they made it so you could use a fire dragon to clear bush /trees/ and shrubs from an area for building. And it also is a way to do it with out getting all the berries and fiber.

Did the Alpha yesterday, and got 485 element, I believe. I did forget to place it on a Dino, so I lost that, my med brews, but kept most things. So put EVERYTHING on a Dino 😂 .Also, in ASE… you could paint flags. If you still can, put some green, blue, and red on 3 flags.
You can paint the boss flags?! 👀
You could in ase… either a paint brush, spray paint gun, or you might have to have it in your inventory. If I think about it next time I’m on, I’ll give it a go and post the results here.
You can 100% paint the boss flags in Asa. I only tried the spray paint gun though.
You can also paint region 1 of the manticore, alpha deathworm, and alpha dragon trophies with at least the spray gun!

I don't make tutorial type videos but I do all my building on camera in my videos
Did you run the caves again? Ive been having issues with the caves on scorched on console. It creates these color clouds when i move around and cant see anything.
I only run caves one time per map then after that I spawn them in for my videos
Oo the manticore might be a good option to grind for element.

How do you harvest the manticore? Also does the ground do damage to you if you’re standing on it without a mount? I tried the boss and fell off my mount and the ground was doing like 10 damage per second
The ground shouldn't damage you. Could be you were hit with the spines from the Manticore and were taking dmg from that. Use your tames to harvest it

I do all my recording in single player
You should try the new lizard it cant take torpor so it cant from the boss
I won't try to tame another one of those for a very long time as the taming process is annoying
