We entered Kruger at Malelane gate and stayed at Berg-en-Dal rest camp - Biyamiti bushveld camp - Talamati bushveld camp - Shimuwini bushveld camp - Sirheni bushveld camp - Boulders bush lodge and Roodewal bush lodge.

--PART 6 - A day without a plan and to relax a little. After a slow start and just enjoying the camp and the animals we decided to go on a little drive. We found one of the 4x4 tracks of which we didn't know that you're allowed to drive without booking them. Nice surprise and of course fun to do!
We also visited Masorini and Sable overnight hide.
Back at Shimuwini we enjoyed more of the wildlife and saw a pygmy kingfisher and a white-backed night heron which was a first for me! When it got dark we enjoyed the sounds of a white-faced owl and a scops owl.
This is the route we drove:
S141, H14, 4x4 track connecting H14 to H9, S51, H14, S141.

Ik heb er weer van genoten! Night heron.. heel gaaf.
Was dat de meest zuidelijke Baobab? Ik hoorde dat het nu permanent gesloten is.

Dankjewel 😊. Die night heron was ook voor mij de eerste keer! De zuidelijkste baobab is ten zuiden van Satara tussen de H1-3 en S125. Al heb ik gehoord dat er bij Pretoriuskop ook een boabab zou moeten staan..
