I know his song has a different meaning to other people...I worked the night shift during my deployment overseas.. I would listen to this song while watching the sunrise...just thinking about going home and how lucky we are to live in the USA

I work as a railroad conductor, my wife says this song reminds her of me. I hear it sometimes before getting on a night train. I know it’s not about that but still it’s just away we can smile being miles apart. You make good music man, I hope the best for ya.
Sometimes you can't explain why a song reminds you of that certain someone. The only thing that matters is it MATTERS to you 2. I have a few for my guy. Love wins in the end.

When I worked graveyard shift & I first heard this song, I would sing the working on the nightshift baby to my young son & it became his favorite that he would dance around to... These lockdowns are taking their toll on families. I'm leaving that job to be where they are and be a full time mama to my sons.
This was our song, heading to location, working in North Dakota. Oil & gas industry, on the nights 6:00pm to 6:00am, the song hits hard, being away from your family, dying for there trust knowing you’ll make it home and that paycheck was hopefully worth it. working with guys from all over the world, some here in the states on work visa’s, some of us had very different views, but one thing we were all there to do, rack those overtime hours, “100 hours a week in -50 degree’s weather”, stay safe & be able to fly home, and hope your family is still with you for the sacrifice.
Cant wait till spring finally starts and the farming can begin. Work a full time job but always go to my parents place every night to help get the planting done. Since we are already behind schedule because of the weather there is going to be a lot of late night/night shifts to get everything done as quick as possible but I wouldn't miss it for the world. Ill 100% be singing along on the tractor when it comes on!
This song is a double entendre. My fiancee and I both in security, and we both work graveyard. That's why this is our song, and we're having it played for our first dance at our wedding this November 11/23. 🤠👍
Seen this guy live and what a phenomenal talent he is. He was supposed to perform at the Houston rodeo. 1st time actually and me and my wife were so excited to go. Then COVID happened. If the rodeo ever comes back then he is a must. His lead guitarist is also a tremendous act in his own right. Really made the guitar scream
He was in town here last night and I was lucky enough to land a guitar pic from the lead guitar. It was a great show. Purscilla Block opened up of em. Like I said great show.

This song brings back memories! It came out when I was working the night shift up at the Kesselring site for the Navy. Put in god knows how many nights in hull, heading back to the hotel in the early morning hours with this song blaring. Stressful job, but something inside of me misses it...

I've been listening to Jon Pardi since long before anyone ever heard his name. While I'm a bigger fan of his earlier music, I'm so glad he made the big time. He deserves it.

Heard this song for the first time back in 2019 on a road trip with my family. Was the dead of night, driving through downtown Houston, when it came on our old busted up car radio. It was just me and my dad awake still, and we both just hummed along, enjoying the Houston lights at night. Don't think I'll ever be able to experience that feeling again, but it's one of my favorite songs. It's just one of those songs that me in a good mood no matter what.
