Rev Fr, You marked Fr. Denis Lewis OP(A Dominican Friar) on your talk about his missionary works in Italy for the Construction of Ashoknagar church. This Ashoknagar Parish (Mount St. Dominic Church)will be proud about him, When we together (Pharishioners and the Indian Dominican Congregation) celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the church this year on May. He was the First Parish Priest for the Ashoknagar church. Even today Dominican Friars are continuously proclaiming the Divine word and the Importance of Mother Mary’s intercession with the help of Holy Rosary, to Fight against the Evil!

Glad to hear the life story of our Parish priest of yester years. Every parish he has gone, he has transformed into a vibrant Parish by taking up challenging projects. Personally, he was a good samaritan for me in encouraging and supporting in my higher education. Every time I visit India, I make it a point to meet him and express my gratitude even after 37 years.

I know his dear sister Mother Zaveria from Briggittine convent in Bangalore. She is in her mid nineties and is truly a noble soul. And she's sharp!!

A down to earth and very Humble Person.. Had met Him at Kulshekar when He was a Vicar then during my wedding days in 1993.. If the Cordel Hall is famous now then the credit goes to Him for building it .Narrating about His childhood hardship days is very rare compared to the rest.
