My situation is not going to determine my mood. This message is good and I have a lot to work on. My heart wants to be reconciled with my husband of 20 years. Please pray my husband’s heart would change from seeing me as all bad to someone who is worth trying again with. I did all of these things, fluctuating moods, negative, even somewhat of a nag,etc.. living separately from him and my teens I’m a changed woman. I know how to surrender to Christ. He doesn’t want to do marriage counseling. Please pray I would keep changing and God would soften his heart to seeing value in me and our marriage. His heart needs softened too. We need a God sized miracle for both our teen son and my husband to want me and our marriage. I’m trusting God for the miracle of restoration.

My husband has been out of the house for 2 months because he relapsed I have been praying to God every day all day he wakes up and gets help and comes home. He sees me as the enemy and it really hurt by things I’ve said in the past I’m reeling for the loss of my family. I am so depressed and constantly reaching out to him and am bombarding him with messages I am so scared to lose him forever. I want to save my marriage. I want to save my husband.

How do I not pick at my husband, and not let it effect me when he cannot control his alcohol consumption? Sometimes he has had way too much to drink before he comes home after work. It has to be him to realize it, but he doesn't think he has a problem. I'm not so sure he's hard on himself in his mind because he'd realize it. It's something I pray his eyes will be opened.

I totally agree with holding yourself to the same standard you’d hold him to. Women are every bit as capable and should set the example as fellow leaders with their husbands. And rather than nagging him about something that needs doing, maybe take the initiative and start doing it.

what if your husband feels that saying is women being liberal and wanting to be the boss, fighting for woman's rights. This lesson is hardest to apply when your husband does not put you or your feelings first.... he prefers to avoid, stay away and not talk to me and becomes defensive if i share my 'feelings ' with him. I've been praying for him for years and the enemy keeps attacking him spiritually. I understand I'm at fault as well since for too long I lived in offense, God forgive me. Definitely agree, I need to let God work on me first!!! I dove deep into Him these past couple of years. MY LIFE, MY WORLD ARE IN GOD'S HANDS... it's in HIS care

At the same time, I believe we put too much responsibility on women for how their husbands behave and give women too little authority in marriage at the same time. I simply don’t believe most Christians have a well balanced view of marriage and it ends up unhealthy.
