Honestly DICE should cancelled BF2042 during developing way back then, and start updating battlefield 1 and 5 at a same time where they left off
not much to update in battlefield 1 imo, it would ruin the game because it would become like cod.

Should’ve for our sake yes but that’s not how businesses work. They exist to make their shareholders big bucks. fucking around updating a game ppl already own isn’t something they’d ever do. Don’t forget ar the end of the day Battlefield is an EA product.
Battlefield 1 will always be one of the franchise greats and possibly the high point of the series. It's a close second place in my opinon, right behind BF4.

No modern era game will feel as epic. Its the fact that you're in WWI etc with those specific style of weapons that make this game so BA.
@@BB-pg5kl imagine BF2042 with WWI weapons and uniforms and maps, there is still a lot of difference between BF1 and BF2042
@@BB-pg5kl it’s not about WW1 theme in BF1. BF1’s greatness comes from its great Photogrammetry visuals, grand audio design, good destruction physics, Micro effect physics, brilliant map design that inturn gives chaotic atmospheric effect. Old Dice devs had a clear vision for what makes Battlefield, Battlefield!. They made this game with great passion for it. They had no micro transaction mindset or BR mindset in making it. Even for a voice effect, they make the voice actors run in treadmills before delivering their voice.
I can definitely say, a game like this with modern era setting can be certainly possible. But EA’s greediness on micro transactions are failing us.
@@PrasathMGMgoing to have to disagree. The WW1 is part of the reason this game is so great (besides what you mentioned). Sorry but a behemoth crashing down around you while your impaling somebody on a horse as your going through a trench can not be captured in anything modern themed.
@@BB-pg5kl Gamers in 2016 mostly hated futuristic and jumping fps. They just wanted a good boots on ground fps experience. So it’s Whether modern or Cold War or WW theme, if done correctly, gamers would certainly like it. MW2019 was also an example for this. BF1 was a huge success not due to its theme alone. It’s a huge success because dice had perfected the game to its micro level details. All combined, provides a good cinematic atmospheric effect, still today most of the modern fps titles are unable to provide such an effect.
There is still horse cavalry regiments today in some countries. Behemoths can be implemented in modern setting game also, except Blimps. Warships, Trains, tanks, globe master can be implemented. If you take BF2042, we had tornadoes only. Imagine we had earthquakes, tsunami, volcanic eruption, avalanche, nuke explosion, landslides etc. It would be epic in modern setting theme. But Dice missed their chance.
I went back to BFV last night after consistently playing BF1 for the last year (And since launch) and while it's nice to have the features and content that BFV offers, to me it's not even a competition on which game is better. The simplicity of BF1's content is made up for by it's gameplay and atmosphere, goated game

I bought BF1 three days ago on PC after playing it on PS4 and it's SO WORTH IT!
I mean I switch between both of them when Im bored but Im surprised there's still active servers on both platforms!

It's probably the best BF game ever, I put so many hrs into this when it was released and only stopped when ps5 came out.

Out of curiosity why doesn’t your MP 18 have any Bayonet attached?
A bayonet makes you slower at rising your weapon to fire after sprinting.
Or he just doesn't use it so why have it.
You can detach it on editing

I started playing bf1 a few days ago, can someone tell me some good snipers, please? and tips to understand the range bars. I used to play apex before, where it was pretty easy to understand the drop off lol

Hey Broken! Or anyone who see’s this: I’ve had BF1 since release and I bought the premium thingy so I had all the DLC maps/factions. However my only friend that plays it as well only has the base game. So when we play together we only ever get base game maps and the odd French night time map Prise Tahure or whatever. My question is since I’m playing with my buddy who only owns the base game - would it be worth it for him to actually buy the premium this late in the games life so we could possibly play more dlc maps together? cuz as it is now we really only get base game maps. never get fort De Veaux even. no Russian maps, no apocalypse, really nothing. Cuz if he bought it I’m thinking we’d have more variety. But would that even work? worth it? cuz BF1 is older and I imagine on ps5 at least not enough ppl are playing?? If anyone can answer I’d really appreciate it. And sickening stuff as usual, Broken gg’s

Also would him buying it allow us to get more variety in maps? Or is the current rotation of maps about it since the player base isn’t 2016/7 levels necessarily?
I have premium on ps4, have had for a while and at least for ps4 not that many dlc going on. Most is just base game maps idk if this helps because your ps5 but if your going for maps my advice not worth it. For more variety of guns yeah worth it if you can get a sale.

I haven’t played myself in awhile but I remember getting fort de Veaux and Zebrugger (sp) when playing alone; however it really was very very rarely. The guy who said it was 10 bucks idk if he’s talking correct, cuz if that’s the case he would but not if it’s still what it was when we paid for it years back $50+. thanks for the feedback.
Edit: wouldn’t make a difference ps4 to ps5, it def runs smoother and is a step up in playability from ps4 but we’re all playing the same game and servers. the only difference is loading times and frame rate etc. def noticeable since I just got ps5 for Christmas def a pleasant experience. But it’s a shame they couldn’t just let those maps be available to everyone there are some great ones in there.
@chadgrov there is definitely a lot of great maps being missed out on, I do wish they let everyone play them but also have them be more in the rotation, it feels like there are plenty who have premium to run some maps but I rarely see em being played or being rotated in or however it works. And even if you do get a choice between a premium map and a base game everyone votes for the base game so it's kinda a lose lose lol

Depends on FOV and you can also change how big the crosshair is

Just a question, do you think bfv has less content than bf1. I mean I played both back to back and found that bfv has less weapns overall. Whereas bf1 has more variety. I am confused which one to play bf1 has better visuals and guns and map collection where as bfv has better gunplay, specially sniping

How do you find a server? I always look in server browse and the most amount of people in a server was 6. People keep saying that's its still alive but every time I try to play, it seems pretty dead
Okay i hope you see this, go to server filter and turn everything blank. Not "on" mot "off" but blank. Then click on us and europe servers. There was over 80 yesterday
I would also save the filter and use it every time. Quickmatch is broken and custom servers are dead unfortunately
