Very good demonstration. I use a Golden companion GC 440 for large venues and a Pride Sundancer 3 wheel for groceries and tight places. while my girl uses a Golden GC 340 for shopping and a Drive phoenix HD4 for large venues. We rented scooters at a flea market and had so much fun, we went out and bought some. My girl was lucky to be given hers.
Thank you Sergio for educating us on the difference between Mobility Scooter and Power Wheelchair. I will get my mobility scooter in 3weeks which will be a total of 60 days. I was evaluated in April by ATP and PT in my home. They told me it will be 60 days when they deliver my scooter. It will be a Victory 9 4 wheel.

does medicare cover electric scooters or electric wheelchairs under the durable medical equipment benefit if you have an RX from a doctor ... ? are you an approved medicare DME supplier ? thanks
Unfortunately, we do not bill through insurance. Most insurance companies only approve coverage for very basic models that are only designed for indoor use. They won't approve or cover anything designed for traveling, like any folding or disassembling models. They also won't approve anything if it goes over 5 mph or has any off-road suspension or oversized tires. Especially if you are using Medicare or Medicaid. You may want to call your insurance company to find out if they would reimburse you after purchasing the scooter or wheelchair privately through a dealer and showing a receipt. Keep in mind that if you use insurance it generally takes 6 months or even up to a year to get approval. Something that we do to compensate for that is we offer free shipping and no sales tax, we also include a discount if you decide to pay out of pocket. We also offer hassle-free financing that you can apply for and get approved instantly. Please call our non-commissioned sales expert at 888-263-5601.
I would love to have a mobile bitty scooter I need one bad I can't take my walks or go fishing I am inside all the time I don't do the things I use to please help me
can a power wheelchair go as long as a motor scooter? like on my mobility scooter, I can go up a few blocks to my friends house, we are in the process of getting a power wheelchair from medicaid to better suit my needs, but i always though tthey had a shorter range, I also really like going out to zoos and amusement parks etc. theres more benefits to a wheelchair for me since i need it around the house as well and to be able to better take on the bus, but i just worry about not being able to go as far as i can in my scooter.
All of the models we carry, have different specs. Some go far, some don't go that far. It all depends on the model. If you just go to our website, you can filter products that have longer travel range. Or you can call 888-263-5601 to speak with a non-commissioned sales expert :)
300 lbs in most cases. Sadly. There are some that hold 325 or 350 lbs, but they are few and far in between. Check this link out: th-cam.com/video/_xm9QcXB5ZQ/w-d-xo.html
